[How, pray tell, can data be political?]

Like this:
Politic 1: "Hey, we need more money from taxes."
Politic 2: "We can't increase then, there will be revolution if we do that."
Politic 1: "So, do you have any idea."
Politic 2: "Let's see. These guys climatologists say that the climate is warming up. All people know that CO2 causes greenhouse effect, so why we don't blame it and tax people that produce it."
Politic 1: "Great idea. But they will not believe us."
Politic 2: "We will create IPCC then... Those climatologists must start earning their money."

Do they not realize ...oh sorry....They WILL realized they will soon be FACE to FACE with the Creator of "Physics"....and all "intelligent, practical...thought processes of "MAN"...will be thrown out the window...when staring into the Face of Judgement by a Holy God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(The pastor who helped oust Steve, now Susan, Stanton from his post as Largo, Florida city manager with his "Jesus the Terminator" remark spouts again:)

...Our country started out a strong conservative country. President George Washington was a strong Christian and conservative, along with our other forefathers. If you study American history, you will find this country took God and His Word, the Bible, very seriously for years. I believe God has greatly blessed this country because of those people who took Him seriously....

If you read the Bible, you will find many of the people would not listen to God's prophets and preachers. In fact they killed many of them. Notice what happened to those nations that did not turn from their sins – God destroyed them. Things haven't changed today; many people are still not listening to God's scriptural preachers.

If America continues to go down the liberal road it is going, it will end up being the doom of this country. I believe the only hope for America is that we go back to our conservative roots and seriously seek the God of the Bible.

(rather than dealing with the question of the literal Bible's valuing pi at "3"... Gottservant would like us to do away with pi altogether)

Let me put it another way. Numbers are symbolic; now, pi is so long that the area it takes up is greater than any circle you could hope to symbolize the circumference to diameter ratio of. How can a symbol be considered symbolic if it is greater than that which it represents?

Do you see the problem now?

I read with interest the Daily Herald's recent article about the local man who deals in fossils. The part that caught my eye was the paragraph about the site near Mosinee, about which at least 10 professional papers have been written.

Let me add some information from another professional paper. According to a little known expert, Professor God, these fossils were all made during the universal flood which happened about 6,000 years ago in Noah's day. The flood occurred because of man's sin. He also said that he personally made the earth and all living things in six days. He laughs when the subject of missing links is brought up. He says he didn't use them so they won't find them. He says that man and dinosaurs lived at the same time.

Interesting guy, this Professor God. He wrote a lot of what he knows in a book called the Bible. It's really hard to argue with him about things, because he keeps saying, "Were you there when all of this happened? I was."

And to date, no man has proven his book wrong. He hasn't had it peer reviewed, because he has no peers.

How can a gay lead any country? The previous governor of New Jersey is a gay man and already the place was corrupt. If a gay man become a leader, just like Sodom and Gomorrah, heterosexual people have to live the place for fear of being raped by those nasty people. Although before their end, there will be a gay homosexual in every homosexual nation. Daniel 2 has to be fulfilled. The Ten toes before the end of the Roman Empire is Ten homosexuals kings that will rule before destruction of the Empire. The Bible is still alive and events are being fulfilled faithfully. The Bible was edited, but the Almighty Creator of the Universe preserve enough prophecies in there for His Righteous people.
This is a prophecy: Children will rape same sex children in public school just like in Sodom and Gomorrha. The nasty homosexual kissed with their tongue open for everybody to see, that is the demon kissing, imagine a gay president, the nasty ones will be out of control.

I'd vote against gay marriage for these reasons:

(1) It's a mild mental illness or a glandular problem or temporary/experimental behavior. We shouldn't be forced by Big Brother to pretend it's normal.

(2) Gay marriage is about money. If gay activists can establish homosexuality as a minority, instead of as a behavior, then homos can claim legal protection as a minority with a history of discrimination.

(3) It serves no purpose. Homos can do anything with a few pieces of paper that they could do with a marriage certificate -except Social Security. And I believe Social Security shouldn't exist anyway.

So, it's not about hate, or Christian fundamentalism or anything like that. It's about a firm grip on reality.

Quote# 27709

There is way too much emphasis on what the Bible means to me or you, personally. I don't read it to hear what I want to hear; I read it to hear what God has to say. So I'm not interested in sugar coating the truth. I am not interested in flat out ignoring verses in the Bible because I've found some personal reason to think that I should.

I've been pointing out what I see as obvious contradictions. Even if I marry one day and find the idea of submitting to another human being absolutely insufferable, that DOES NOT give me the freedom to reinterpret the Bible in some other way. It doesn't matter what I personally think God should have to say on the matter of a woman's place in the world. It only matters what God actually says about it.

When God says He created man and he became a living soul when God breathed life into him, and that He then put this man to sleep and created a woman from his rib, and then someone here goes on to say "well maybe what God really did was create man through evolution", then we have a serious problem. If you don't believe the whole Bible, you're just picking and choosing what you want to believe, making up your own religion as you go.

(On how anesthetics during childbirth is a sin)

[I fail to see how it would be defying God any more than not letting your husband rule over you (I hope you wouldn't do that!) Anyways, you get Novocaine when you get dental work done don't you? How is it any different?]

Because God never said that he was going to increase the pain of dental work as punishment for disobeying Him. He did say, however, that He would increase the pain of childbirth as punishment. That's the difference.

Its like being grounded by your parents, and then sneaking out the window. This is obviously defying them by skirting their punishment.

HIS name is soo powerful, ive had other people become very uncomfortable and uneasy in my prescence when i mention HIS name...thats why HIS name is above ALL names!!!

I find it strange that they made you a "guardian" on this forum with the knowledge that you would subtlety persuade us to see the world from your perspective. This quote goes against the Christian God, who has revealed Himself to us through the Bible alone and revealed to us in it that men are not to use their abilities to achieve that which threatens Him (remember the Tower of Babel?). Science has rendered God unnecessary for the universe and for the existence of mankind. That is far worse than building a tower, so its hard to imagine God is approving of this.

Many non-theists are always saying that CHURCH and STATE should be separated. Well, if they are Christians, then, we can assume that their babblings are logical. BUT they don't believe the Bible.

The Bible was the one who had given us an idea that the CHURCH and STATE should be separated.

So if you don' t believe the Bible that it is true, then, you are simply saying that CHURCH/BELIEFS and STATE should be conjoined!

Witchcraft for kids. You have been conned by the hype. Not everything that encourages kids to read is a good idea. The anarchist's cookbook might encourage them to read, so your logic is faulty. This Satanism should not be encouraged in school; you are abusing your position of responsibility in guiding other people's children to something that is really dodgy.

Atheism is a really EVIL invention since it tells people that there is no judgement in afterlife.

Therefore an atheist can MOLEST and kill as many innocent children as POSSIBLE since the atheist has NOTHIGN to fear. This ALSO explains the rising NUMBER of child-molesters thieves and serial killers. While a religious PERSON knows that EVIL behaviour will be punished by GOD and CHILD MOLESTERS will go to HELL atheists don't have that fear and so there BECOMING the most dangerous child-molesters, THIEVES and MURDERERS of them all!!!

Most of the INMATES in prisons are atheists SOME may find back their way to GOD and GOD may forgive them.
