I think people are failing to realize that it is not the government's responsibility to help ANYONE have "safe sex". Again, this is indicative of how skewed this generation's ideologies are, and their attempts at placing their own bodily responsibility on the government. "Oh I got pregnant, and it's the government's fault for not providing me with birth control"....please tell me I'm not the only one who sees how maddening this is!!

And the really sad part of this video is....polycystic fibrosis and endometriosis have BOTH been linked to birth control pills, as well as the higher increases of infertility in women who have been on birth control their whole lives. I have family members who have experienced this heartbreak first hand - due to the extended use of birth control pills. They can't have children, and a couple have had full blown hysterectomies. Talk about regret!! Sandra Fluke uses examples of women with these issues as an argument FOR the usage of these things.

No one NEEDS birth control pills, and until they came along, humans were doing just fine, with a LOT less instances of infertility. Even condoms are being linked to some serious issues and infections. People just need to understand that if they want an active and indiscriminate sex life, there WILL be consequences...period. Whether it is with or without birth control. Why doesn't anyone get this?

The Obama Administration and progressives have found a way to take away choices from parents and get rid of competition in education, and to add insult to injury, they're gonna force us to pay to indoctrinate our own kids. On Monday’s 700 Club, Robertson responded to a viewer who wanted to know if she should bless purchases from Goodwill before bringing them home because her mother said that demons could "attach themselves to material items."

Robertson recalled a story about a "witch who had prayed over a particular ring and asked for a spirit to come into it." And then when a girl purchased the ring, "all hell broke loose."

"Can demonic spirits attach themselves to inanimate objects? The answer is yes," the TV preacher explained. "But I don’t think that every sweater you get from Goodwill has demons in it."

It still amazes me that no one in the South ever stopped and thought, you know, since Lincoln is about the only one hell-bent on this war, and nearly everyone else seems to accept the Constitutional concept of allowing the various sovereign states to express their self-determination and go their separate ways, how about we shoot him instead of tens of thousands of immigrant German farm boys being forced to fight against us? How is assassinating a single dictator somehow considered out of bounds when the alternative is butchering hundreds of thousands of innocents whose only crime was to get drafted into military service?

Quote# 92881

You can co-opt the term [evangelical] and redefine it, but it should be used as popular culture and historical Christianity use it (reserved for us, not every false religion under the sun). It is more than any false set of beliefs or those who share some sort of belief system. It is the Good News of Christ, not the bad news of Buddhism. Evangelical Muslim would also sound like an oxymoron and they have the integrity to not blur the distinction or create confusion. Christian Buddhist may be possible in a Buddhist's mind, but it is not a biblical option for a true Christian (Eph. 1:3; 2 Peter 1:3; Jn. 14:6; Acts 4:12; Rom. 10:9-10).

Religions, including Buddhism, have behavioral truths in common with Christianity. Christianity (biblical, historical, orthodox) alone has redemptive truth leading to eternal life (Jn. 3:16; Jn. 14:6; Acts 4:12; Rom. 1:16; I Jn. 5:11-13).

Buddhism is bankrupt and false since Buddha is dead, was not Deity, did not rise from the dead, denies the existence of a personal God, denies reality of sin and need for a sinless Savior, etc. It may be a world religion or popular fad for some, but it is not revelatory truth (in fact it is demonically energized leading to deception of millions).

Our culture has reached a dangerous degenerate standard. Some states are accepting same sex marriage as a way of life. On the news, it was reported that more unwed couples are having children (the rate has nearly doubled in 10 years). Adultery is breaking up marriages at an alarming rate. Abortion as a form of birth control nationwide. Public schools are teaching classes sixth through 10th the appropriate age for sex, and how to use a condom properly.

The Greeks have a word - The-ol-ogy - that I apply in my life. It’s the science which treats of God his attributes and his relationship to the universe: the science or study of divine things or religious truth; divinity: also a particular form system or branch of this science or study (as the Christian, Jewish, Mohammedan theology: dogmatic, homiletic or historical theology).

Reasoned discussion, historical facts, and providing opportunity for all people in the US isn’t working. So the only thing that will make sense is just to round them up and get rid of them.

Since I’m not the violent kind I suggest we round them up and sell them as slaves to a foreign country. We can use the money we get to help pay down the national debt.

Quote# 92867

Father, we ask You to reveal Your Son, Jesus, to our president as the only way to God. We ask You to cause him to have a Saul-to-Paul experience. Release the pricks and goads upon his heart at an accelerated pace so that his heart will turn to the righteousness of Jesus Christ. Deliver him and let him experience a genuine new birth in his spirit. God, deal with our president about the innocent bloodshed of the unborn and the sanctity of marriage.

Open doors for true prophets to speak to Obama in the White House. We bind the ministry of psychics, the teaching of black liberation theology, and every New Age and secular humanist doctrine away from the White House…

Anoint the Secret Service agents with a double portion throughout the rest of President Obama’s tenure. We bind the spirit of the double agent. We come against the Judas spirit in the Secret Service, CIA, NSA and FBI in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we come against every stronghold that keeps the president from the truth. We break every soul tie and vow that has been established between him and Harvard, secret societies and the Illuminati.

We declare that even the cabinet that is around him will bow to Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over Obama’s head so that the pressure of the office will not keep him up all night. Every tormenting spirit sent by a witch or warlock is bound in Jesus’ name.

Lord, expose the work of every witch, sorcerer, spiritualist or person from the dark side operating through his cabinet members or through anyone else closely associated with him. We block the power of the influence of the Yorùbá religion and all other groups of black people who worship their ancestors, in Jesus’ name. We put barriers around the United States that will bind and block the witchcraft coming from Kenya to influence our president in Jesus’ name. Let the power of every dedication of his past be broken, in Jesus’ name…

We drown every spirit traveling from overseas to wreak havoc. We bind the spirit of havoc and chaos from birthing martial law in the land. We bind spirits that would cause us to lose our constitutional and civil liberties. We declare that the gospel and those who preach it shall have free course in the earth.

We break all agreements between Barack Obama and the nations of the Middle East that would cause America to turn its back on Israel.

When I heard this, my first thought was that Obama is a living, breathing, walking "sin." Unlike us, who are sinners, he is sin itself (not calling him the AC). He wades through our country, touching people, touching governments, schools, most industries, infecting everyone and every thing he touches. And if that's not bad enough, he leaves a wake of corruption to prolong his contagion into future generations. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

Quote# 92860

Freedom not Sodom!

There’s freedom in America, the land of the red white and blue;
but there still must be laws, things you just can’t do.

You can’t marry your sister, your brother, or the family pet;
a sheep, or a goat - at least not yet!

That how is it with homosexuality, what the Bible calls sodomy;
men lying with men as with women, is perversity!

That they’re not designed that way, tis easy to perceive,
but yielding to sinful desires, man is soon deceived.

A moral wrong is not a civil right; like the sin itself, that’s confusion;
calling evil good and exchanging light for darkness, is sure delusion!

History tells us where this will lead, from societies now in dust,
When a nation casts off the laws of God, and follows it’s own lusts.

Promoting a sin which sends one to Hell from an early grave,
dishonors God and robs man of the Life He gave.

There’s but one answer: the Risen Jesus gave Himself for our sins;
Repent and believe, then truly follow Him!

Quote# 92859

Homosexuals are cunningly using all the tools provided them by a simplistic and fallacious interpretation of democracy to further their subversive cause. They are an educated and wealthy lobby group, numerous and influential enough to affect national legislatures and international bodies. Judging by their successes in North America and Europe, they will very soon manage to obtain in Israel all the legal freedom they desire to corrupt many, many young Jews. Do not be surprised if, moreover, they in time demand that the Torah’s anti-homosexual verses be censored.

But there is one, just one, way to stop these loathsome people from progressing further, in the Jewish world at least. It is that all rabbinical authorities in Israel (and indeed, in the world) convene and together declare all evident homosexuals and homophiles to be no longer Jewish. Only such a powerful ban can put the fear of G-d in some of these people’s hearts, and only the leading rabbis (the orthodox and traditional ones, at least) have the institutional and moral power to do it.

The terms ‘Jewish’ and ‘homosexual’ must be understood by everyone to be antitheses, contradictory terms. There can be no such thing as a “Jewish homosexual”: such a concept is shameful to all decent Jews. Normal Jews do not want to be associated with homosexuals, even in thought. Such behavior is the depth of depravity, something incompatible with Judaism. Let it be known far and wide: if you are a Jew, you cannot be a homosexual; and if you are a homosexual, you cannot be a Jew.

If someone publicly acknowledges being a homosexual in the media, or admits to being a homosexual in front of two or more witnesses, then that person should be formally banned from the Jewish religion (for examples: Dana Olmert, the current PM’s daughter, and various reform and conservative so-called “rabbis”).

If, moreover, someone by word or deed publicly takes a stand in favor of homosexuality or homosexual “rights”, then that person should likewise be declared excluded from the Jewish religion (for examples: certain judges of the Supreme Court of Israel, certain Members of the Knesset, certain academics and journalists).

What does excommunication mean? If it is a man, he will no longer be counted as part of a minyan or be called up to the Torah, or granted any of the duties and privileges normally granted to Jews. If it is a woman, any children she bears thenceforth will not be recognized as Jews. Moreover, such people should not be allowed in Yom Kippur services or be buried in Jewish cemeteries.

Such exclusions may be difficult to administrate and enforce in practice, but the theoretical message they convey is important and effective anyway. A rabbinical court would have to decide each case, and a centralized blacklist would have to be maintained.

Reduce demand further by having less children and the problem exacerbates itself. "But the laws of supply and demand are unfaaaaaaaaaaair!" you whine. "The answer is MOAR GUBMIT! Prove to me empirically that empiricism is a legitimate form of knowledge. You cannot, because to do so requires something beyond empiricism.

Scientific "consensus" or a majority opinion is not a determiner of truth claims. Further, this is just a bald, evolutionary assertion with no shred of proof whatsoever. It is only philosophical naturalism in the guise of "science".

The TAG argument has never been sufficiently answered by anti-theists, and it never will. Michael Martin and other atheists have tried, but to no avail.

There is no such thing as beneficial or deleterious, it all depends on the environment. If someone is born with ALS or elephant man's disease, there may well be a time when humans consider this to be the most attractive type of male, because they look strong and able to withstand medium caliber bullets. So basically it impossible to know if a mutation is deleterious or beneficial, we have to wait and see what the environment does.

Natural selection ...

1. green and brown beetles of the same kind
2. birds can see and find the green ones to eat
3. the green numbers drop and the browns increase due to mating
4. after awhile no green beetles only brown which the birds can't see to eat

So - now you have God creating something specifically to destroy it. Is that congruent with 'God is Life'? Nope.

Animals eat animals because of sin ... so you have NO evolution/natural selection without sin. Where did sin come from? Oh, the canned answer is evolutionary theory doesn't deal with religious topics ... but then wait - if no sin, no evolution ... oh, but notice there's NO sin in the creation account in Genesis - sin comes in AFTER. So you go and collect a fossil record AFTER and conclude evolution - which the account of the beetles is true and observable; but it does not explain any step BEFORE step 1. Step 0 is sin, step -1 is God creates by His words. Genesis isn't wrong and precludes the idea of creation by evolution.

The God the of the Universe said homosexuality was unnatural. (Paul may have written this passage, but "for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God." (2 Peter 1:21) You can't find a higher authority than that.

You see, it doesn't matter what man thinks, it's what God thinks. God isn't going to change His mind just because a group of people demand it, or even if ALL people demand it. God's Kingdom is not a democracy. You can live by YOUR rules all your life, but when you stand before Him on judgment day, HIS rules will be in effect.

And animals? You're saying it's okay because ANIMALS do it? Animals kill and eat one another. Should we do that, too? Just because animals do it, should we? Aren't be better than animals?

“If God is real,” asks the Atheist to the Apologist, “then why are we having this debate?” The point being that, if an all-powerful, omnipresent being is real, then his existence should be obvious enough to be beyond debate.

Of course the question could be flipped on its head. The Apologist could ask “If God doesn’t exist, then why are we having this debate,” meaning that if there is no God, then where does the idea of God come from, and why is it so prevalent? After all, people are not natural atheists who, through excessive thinking and study, begrudgingly admit that there may be a God. Rather, they are natural theists who, through a series of mental gymnastics, manage to have reality and morality without a God.
