[All emphases are in the original except for the underlining, which is used to clarify a quote]

If you haven't heard yet, World Vision has changed its hiring policy to allow individuals in legally-recognized same-sex marriages.

...

...World Vision has declared that a person can live openly, proudly, and unrepentantly in a lifestyle that the Bible calls "unnatural," "detestable," and "an abomination" and still be a Christian. Which is the exact opposite of what the Bible says:

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. (1 Corinthians 6)

Don't miss the beautiful picture of the Gospel in these verses. Before Christ, we were caught in all kinds of sins that would keep us out of the Kingdom of God. But we have been washed, sanctified, and justified! We are not the same! We have been forever changed by the precious blood of the Lamb of God. In contrast, World Vision teaches that we can enter the Kingdom of God without being washed, sanctified, and justified, settling on a gospel that literally sends people to Hell.

Consequently, World Vision is no longer a Christian organization. It seems clear that Christian people should support Christian organizations over non-Christian organizations that do the same work. For contrast, let's examine this statement by Samaritan's Purse President Franklin Graham:

I was shocked today to hear of World Vision’s decision to hire employees in same-sex marriages. The Bible is clear that marriage is between a man and a woman. My dear friend, Bob Pierce, the founder of World Vision and Samaritan’s Purse, would be heartbroken. He was an evangelist who believed in the inspired Word of God. World Vision maintains that their decision is based on unifying the church – which I find offensive – as if supporting sin and sinful behavior can unite the church. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, the Scriptures consistently teach that marriage is between a man and woman and any other marriage relationship is sin.

The call to help the poor is an important one, and we must take seriously the biblical commands to do so. However, there is no reason to partner with the workers of darkness. The Bible is very clear on this point. In II Chronicles 20, The LORD sent a prophet to rebuke Jehoshaphat (king of Judah) for joining with Ahaziah (wicked king of Israel) to build ships. That's it. And if God cares about our associations when we partner with someone to build ships, how much more does God care about our associations when we do His work in His Name? This is what the Holy Spirit says:

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God. (II Corinthians 6)

For Conscientious Christians, the Boycott of World Vision starts today. We must not allow World Vision to proclaim a false gospel with our money. We must not support World Vision over Christian charities. We must not fellowship with darkness. We must not allow Christian Love to be mutilated, and Christian Compassion to be shipwrecked.

If World Vision wants to send people to Hell in the name of humanitarianism, they can do it on someone else's dime.

ALL of the history in the Bible has been confirmed over and over! There are 22,000 pages and pieces that confirm the Bible that were found in neighboring countries records! Plus all the ones in Israel! also places like Noah's Ark that is on top of a mountain in Turkey and photographed over and over for the past 150 years!
It is all that the Atheists have been claiming that All tested to be fakes! Atheists started in the 1930s by challenging Believers of God to court, accepted,... ending at the Supreme Court the Atheists lost, for they did Not have any proof. They had not thought they even needed any. After this big loss they paid to have bones found that would match their "theory". They did not think science would advance much. But several years ago they were required to show all their "proofs" and ALL tested to be fakes! Take the "Ape to caveman" theory. The Ape had it's own bones. But all of the others bones were from lots of already known of animals to make each one! Some bone so young they even had blood still in them!
It is the atheists that do Not have Any proof!

Save a Soul, Fix a Faggot

Dear Good Christian Friends,

Please help me in my quest to save homosexuals and bring them to Christ. I suggest a new strategy for curing faggots. It is a simple yet effective approach. First, we fit all homosexual males in America with chastity belts. We lock said males in these belts to keep them from engaging in sodomy. Then we take young strong men who are also faggots in chastity belts and parade them in front of these males. The will become sexually aroused, and the chastity belt will cause them pain. Eventually, form the steady influx of pain from their chastity belts, they will be cured of their homosexuality. Negative reinforcement at its finest.

If you are interested in helping to fund this Good Christian Plan, or have suggestions to make it more effective, please leave a comment.

[on the SCOTUS "Hobby Lobby" case]

God has a very special place for baby-killers. It's called Hell. You three "justices" [Ginsburg, Sotomayor, & Kagan] will all be there in your own time. With any luck, before this case is finished. You clearly are NOT objectionable as your position REQUIRES you to be! It's called religious freedom for a reason. The principle of separation of church and state exists FOR A REASON! YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT, IN ANY CAPACITY, TO PASS JUDGEMENT ON ANYONE - INDIVIDUAL OR CORPORATION - WITH REGARDS TO RELIGIOUS BELIEFS.

Oh my God and Holy shit! How is it possible you don't realize this? Please, for the sake of all humanity, kill yourselves and take that idiot Obama with you! The free people of the United States cannot suffer any more tyrannical leadership. Why are you all so insistent on destroying The Constitution???

[A thread that was a reaction to the discovery of an echo of the Big Bang has turned into a discussion on whether the speed of light is decreasing. Another fundie has criticized a creationist astronomer named Barr Setterfield.]

All of science believed that the s. of l. was decaying up until about 1950, many peer-reviewed papers were written. When they came to the understanding that their Evolution Theory would not work, they changed the s. of l. to a constant knowing that most could not do the math. Setterfield took on the task and was ridiculed for it for years, only in the last few years has his work been recognized as right. They still refuse to say their sorry for the ridiculing of his work though, because of their beloved Evolution Theory, but they know he's right

...

Light was not created from the distant stars to the earth, the light was created from the earth, our Lord and Creator was standing on the earth when He created the light and it went out from here. Science always gets it wrong because of that.
I'm not dogmatic on this but I would think that some of the light still has not reached the farthest stars. Science would say that the light has not reached the earth yet, their wrong.

...

No scientist that believes in Darin's nonsense and his book "On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life."
Secular Science has stopped those like the Setterfields from publishing just like any creation scientist can not publish any of their findings.

Timberlake, VA - Sports, sneakers, and short hair; it's what makes eight year old Sunnie Kahle unique. It's also what had her removed from Timberlake Christian School. Her grandparents pulled the plug on her time there after they said she was no longer welcome.

The family received a letter telling them that if their eight year old granddaughter didn't follow the school's "biblical standards," that she'd be refused enrollment next year. She's out and in public school now.

Sunnie Kahle has short hair and a huge heart, and as far as her grandparents are concerned, she is a completely normal little girl.

"She cries every morning to get on the bus, she cries when she comes home because she wants to go back to Timberlake Christian with her friends," said Doris Thompson.

Doris and Carroll Thompson are Sunnie's grandparents. They adopted and raised the little girl and took her out of Timberlake Christian School when they received a letter from the school's K-8 Principal.

"You're probably aware that Timberlake Christian School is a religious, Bible believing institution providing education in a distinctly Christian environment," read Doris from a part of the letter.

The letter goes on to say that students have been confused about whether Sunnie is a boy or girl and specifies that administrators can refuse enrollment for condoning sexual immorality, practicing a homosexual lifestyle or alternative gender identity.

The letter goes on to reference specific Bible verses that affirm these beliefs.

The letter reads in part, "We believe that unless Sunnie as well as her family clearly understand that God has made her female and her dress and behavior need to follow suit with her God-ordained identity, that TCS is not the best place for her future education."

"How do you label a child, eight years old, or discriminate against an eight year old child? It just don't happen" said Carroll Thompson.

"Sunnie says, 'I'm a girl, I know I'm a girl' and she said then you know, you're acting like and looking, and wanting to look and act like a boy" said Doris.

An administrator from Timberlake Christian, said the problem with Sunnie goes "far beyond her hair length" and that the little girl is a good student, but that "things disturbed the classroom environment."

The Jonas Brothers-Satanic to the Core!!!

Lest you thought Satanic backward masking was a fad of years gone by... THINK AGAIN!!! I am about to shock your socks off if you thought The Jonas Brothers were an evangelical wholesome boy band. You will lose sleep tonight, guaranteed.

I didn't believe it when I heard it, but I proved it myself on my own computer. Their song, KIDS OF THE FUTURE played backwards praises Satan, saying: "I speak for Satan, Satan, Satan. My sweet forsaken Satan, Satan!!!" You are now hearing the song played backwards (download MP3).

I used Acid Loops, a musical software program, to reverse the song. You are hearing the end, a pause, and then the beginning of the song played in reverse. I took out the middle of the song to limit the size of the file. This is backward masking, and it's prevalent in the entire evil music industry.

Please, please listen to me. Your child is in danger! The human mind is incredibly intelligent, more than you can imagine. Your brain processes things that you cannot hear. The eyes work the same way. The government is now installing fluorescent lights in Minnesota that transmit internet data from office computers. It's wireless internet, but through your ceiling light bulbs. The eyes don't notice it because the frequency is so high. Music works in a similar way. Our ears cannot hear Satan being praised, but your brain does hear it, and subconsciously obeys subliminal commands.

Walt Disney has made The Jonas Brothers famous, having sold over 8,000,000 albums worldwide.

In fact, the boy band from New Jersey has become a household name in America, listed in the TOP 10 TEEN IDOLS in the U.S. IDOLS!!! Millions of America's teenagers are idolizing Satan worshippers, and being subliminally trained to worship Satan themselves! The Jonas Brothers aren't what they appear to be! They're subliminally leading the kids of the future to become Satan worshippers!

Pat Robertson Wonders If Viewer's Atheist Coworker Was Raped, Demon-Possessed

When a 700 Club viewer asked host Pat Robertson today if she should give up proselytizing to her atheist coworker and “let her perish,” Robertson speculated that the colleague might be possessed by demons or a survivor of rape.

“I don’t know if you’re dealing with something that is demonic or something that is deeply ingrained,” Robertson said. “It’s something beyond normal human experience, something has happened and she associates God — maybe she had an abusive father, somebody who raped her and then acted like he was preaching to her from the Bible, you just never know what is going on in somebody’s childhood.”

Robertson advised the viewer to “be understanding, be loving and don’t try to push anything on her, pray for her.”

Quote# 100278

Creationist Ray Comfort complained that Neil deGrasse Tyson had misrepresented the Bible.

The astrophysicist and host of Fox’s “Cosmos” said recently that using the Bible as a scientific source was problematic, because no one had ever scientifically proven a theory based on scripture.

Comfort said last week on his online “Comfort Zone” program that Tyson wasn’t qualified to make that determination because he’s not a theologian.

“You know, the word ‘science,’ it’s kind of a magical word,” Comfort said. “‘I believe in science.’ It just means knowledge, that’s all it means. There’s different areas of science, different areas of knowledge. When you say the Bible is not a science book, you’re saying it’s not a knowledge book? It tells us how God created the Earth!”

Knowledge, of course, is not quite all that defines science, which is characterized by systematic methods of observation in pursuit of new understanding.

But Comfort insisted the Bible was a science book because it described the origins of the universe.

“It gives us the basis for all creation, and it passes the scientific method,” he said. “It’s observable – Genesis – and testable. Evolution is not. You can’t observe something 60 million years old, but you can observe what Genesis says.”

For example, Comfort argued, the Book of Genesis mentions that animals reproduce other animals like themselves, and that can be observed on the fossil record.

“The Bible isn’t written as a science book, but it has scientific facts in it that can be relied upon, unchanging scientific facts,” he said. “It’s God’s word.”

Comfort’s guest, creationist fundraiser Alan Pearson, said Tyson’s comments revealed a flaw in scientific thinking.

“This is a reboot of the PBS series in the ‘70s with Carl Sagan, who said the cosmos is all that ever was and all that ever will be, which is ironic, because that is not a statement that can be proven in fact,” said Pearson, who directs fundraising for Comfort’s ministry. “That is a faith-based statement, if you will. So it’s kind of ironic, this whole thing being rebooted as it is.”

Comfort agreed that Tyson, like Sagan, seems like a nice fellow.

“Horrible statements come from nice guys,” Comfort said. “I mean, he’s just downgraded the word of God as just, you can’t trust it, [but] you can throw yourself blindfolded without reserve into the promises of God. You can trust the Bible. It’s God’s word.”

Quote# 100277

GLENN CHAMP is a small contractor businessman that makes the crooked places straight and the rough places smooth. He builds roads, Highways, and freeways. A former G-man, welder, mechanic and contract firefighter.

Born in Clovis, California. Glenn Champ is a longtime resident of the state of California who lives in the mountains, in Tollhouse CA. He was also raised in the mountains where work starts at a young age. He graduated from Sierra High school, college poly science, and would not stand for the unbiblical, communist, socialist, curriculum brain washing in college.

CHAMP 48, is of all American Christian heritage.

After watching politics for 40 years and seeing lawyers make a mess of it and not lift a finger to resolve the problems they created. He came to a conclusion that we need a deliverer, well JESUS is on the throne; that leaves us with truck drivers and welders because mechanics are too busy trying to keep this mess running.

GLENN CHAMP’S political philosophy is a T.E.A. (tax enough already) partier. He believes in Biblical rights, constitution of our founding fathers state rights, liberty and Justice to use your gun rights!
Feeling that it’s time to bring a fighter to the Republican Party and move away from lawyer candidates. Einstein said, “That if you keep using the same ingredients and expect different results - that is the definition of insanity” , like we have in the land of fruits and nuts.

CHAMP represents a new breed of Christian soldier moving forward in the army of the lord, on the highway of righteousness, stomping on the devil’s head, with a new song of righteousness’s in our hearts. Amen. As a man of God, he is going back to fix the crooked places that have led to our current catastrophe. There is a parallel to our spirituality and our nations prosperity. God has sent a deliverer, CHAMP to lead the way back to righteousness and prosperity.
On the religious beliefs, "God honors the individuals soldier free will to sacrifice and stand fast for what is right and so do I."

On California's economic issues, CHAMP favors large tax cuts for businesses and individual taxpayers. He supports the development of small businesses, due to his experience as a small businessman in California. CHAMP declared that, as governor he will remove "job-killing legislation".

As a candidate, CHAMP declared that, as governor, he would "immediately turn the Central Valley farmers' water supply back on with my own wrench". And build water reserves, clean up our mismanaged forests, and utilize all our natural resources. The gubernatorial candidate opposed what he called, "job-killing legislation drafted by environmental terrorist extremists".

CHAMP does not support same sex marriage but views them as misled people with past issues that have not been dealt with in a Biblical manner, nor does he support womb abortions 99.9% of the time. As a man of God and an Evangelical Christian believer, CHAMP's faith "compels me to support Biblical traditional family values". The gubernatorial candidate opposed what he called, " ungodly legislation drafted by demonic terrorist extremists own agenda", that refuse to follow the Biblical or constitution guide lines. This will involve a total overhaul of court house, school house, and church house!

Q/A you may ask yourself why a man of God to be Governor of California?
God has heard your cries and sent a deliverer, “Champ”.
Men of God cannot be bought for money, because they have already been bought by the blood of Jesus the Christ. Also, been through the trials of life and the fire of intimidation coming out of the furnace as tempered steel. They know what their enemy agenda is, and how to stop it and turn it to the straight direction of righteousness.
That is something a lawyer and an actor can’t do!

CHAMP has named Jesus Christ, Einstein, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and George Washington as individuals who have had a positive impact on his life and his philosophy.

“Now obviously,” he continued, “before the service begins, there’s chatting and talking going on, that’s perfectly legitimate. When we all sing praises to God, of course the ladies should also lift up their voices.”

“But when it’s learning time,” Pastor Anderson said, hammering his lecturn, “it’s silence time.”

“So what it’s saying is that they,” the women, “are to learn in silence.” He then quoted 1 Corinthians 14 again, saying that “when the learning is going on, they are not permitted to speak. When the preaching of God’s word is taking place — and first of all, it’s not for a woman to be doing the preaching, and second of all, it’s not for women to be speaking.”

“Even the Bible’s really clear on this,” he said. “Even if they were to have a question, they’re not to ask that question in the church, number one. Number two, even if they want to ask that question to their husband, they should wait until they get home.”

“This is why I don’t believe women should say ‘amen’ during the preaching either. Because ‘amen’ means ‘truly’ or ‘verily’ … it basically means ‘that’s true.’ So when I’m preaching and I say something that you agree with and that you believe in, and you say ‘amen,’ you’re saying ‘that’s true.’”

“So here’s the thing,” Pastor Anderson concluded, “when I’m preaching, women should not express their opinion, even if it’s a positive opinion, even if she agrees with me.”

Quote# 100272

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU'RE BEING UNFAITHFUL?

Consider your own personal relationships:

- When you hear a funny joke or good piece of gossip, do you first tell other colleagues? By the time you get home, have you chewed it all over so much at the office that you don't feel like telling that joke again to your spouse?

- Do you discuss all of your work problems (or issues involving volunteer work or other important things you are involved in) so thoroughly with colleagues that you're all talked out by the time you return home? Do you feel like it would take too long to review and explain the entire issue from scratch to your spouse?

- Do you go out alone to lunch or after work for drinks with members of the opposite sex?

- Do you enjoy harmless (by your definition) flirtation with someone of the opposite sex at a cocktail party?

- Do you believe that getting emotionally excited by flirting with someone of the opposite sex is helpful to your marriage? Do you think it helps educate you as to what you need more of from your spouse? Do you tell yourself that the juice you get from flirting brings more vitality to your marriage?

- Do you spend as long buying the "right gift" for a colleague of the opposite sex as you do for your own spouse?

- Do you share intimate issues about yourself or marriage with a member of the opposite sex?

If you're doing any of these things, you're being emotionally unfaithful to your spouse. You have only so much energy. If you're spending it with coworkers or outside the home and then getting home and feeling too tired to spend any more on your spouse, that's emotional infidelity. You're effectively relocating vital marital energy into the hands of others. Forget about where it might end up. Even if you never touch this other person, you have still used that person to relate to, and in doing so, you relate away from your spouse.

You may be shaking your head and disagreeing. But I've spent years helping couples pool their energies toward each other, and it has changed their marriage immediately. Stop all of these outside relationships and bring all your emotional and sexual energy home to your spouse, and you, too, will change your marriage immediately.

This is yet another state that has overturned the decision of the voters. How is this even lawful? The people vote, and that should be the final say. But voting is just a joke now. We, the people, are made to think we have a choice in the voting booth, but I don't believe we do. It's all a big charade. Bribery and fraud have sullied one of the only ways that we have to demonstrate our power and voice. The government once worked for us. Now, we are slaves to the government, with rights that are continuously taken away from us.

Whoever the demon prince is of the United States—let's call him Sam, but he prefers us to say "Uncle"—he's doing an amazing job of spreading the disease of lawlessness throughout our three branches of government. They're all his muppets, and every time I see one of them selling snake oil on TV with their brittle smiles and false words and monstrous arrogance, I want to be sick. [Fundies have been reacting to the discovery of an "echo" of the Big Bang. Another fundie has claimed that the speed of light is decreasing.]

If the speed of light was decaying, it would turn the standard model of the cosmos on its head. If decay could be proven, practically everything science thinks they know about the origins of the universe would be wrong. Things like; the perceived age of the universe, intergalactic distances, the weak and strong forces, electron energies, and such. I tend to think the universe is winding down and that includes the speed of light.

I have a working hypothesis that all living things are devolving, genetics material is being lost, DNA is not as robust as it once was, and destructive genetic defects are on the rise. A reduction in light speed could possibly account for this because it would alter the electron force in every atom and thus degrade the very building block of life.

Finally, let us say again, thank God for the death of Fred W. Phelps, Sr. We at WBC are not hypocrites after the fashion of Pope Francis, and we are consistent in our message and in our actions. Thank God for the other 150,000 or so deaths on Wednesday, thank God for the deaths that have happened since, and thank God for all His workings in the earth. Blessed be the name fo the Lord.

This generation is horribly caught in the soul-damning sin of worshiping the dead, and we have told you repeatedly over the years about the gravity of this sin. We partake in no such idolatry to serve as an example of how to properly conduct yourselves in these matters. Compare what you see from WBC at this time compared to what you do every time someone dies. You see no pep rally “celebrating the life of the departed”, you don’t see us putting forth some public show of grief and tears. No funerals, no wakes, no tributes, no scholarship funds, no public memorials or candlelight vigils. Just moving forward with our job – preaching to you, and using every opportunity we can to do so. Why? Because as we have repeatedly told you, this is not about any one of us. This is about the message we bring from your Maker, God.

This is a door of utterance (Rev. 3:8) that God opened for us to speak, and so speak we do. Dying time is truth time, and so we preach truth to you regardless of who has died. Your vitriolic bilge is of no concern to us, and we indeed rejoice in it since every article written, every tweet tweeted, every talking head spouting off about this death puts forth this one blessed theological maxim – God Hates Fags. You cannot dictate to us what our response to this matter is, and we will not be swayed by your overwhelming hatred and vulgarity. We will not be swayed by your faux sympathy and fake concern. We will stay on message. That’s what God’s servants do.

The world-wide saturation of these words in this last week is a blessed testimony to the WBC that we are His people and these are His words. Whether you will hear them or whether you will forbear and resist them is not our matter to resolve. That is between you and God.

Its time for people to know that a modern mason represents a jewish worker. a master mason represents a jewish king. and a masonic lodge represents a jewish temple. That is why no jews (more or less) died on september 11, 2001 (jewish new year).

Would an ancient enemy of the jews (arabs) really choose this day to serve as a blow to the jewish controlled america? I tell you the truth, masons eventually worship... Satan ('opposites' in latin). The glorification of nature. i

will spare you all the details of some of their rituals. Never before have the words of Jesus been more relevant. Now that some of you know what a freemason represents, how does this sound; ..."jews who say they are jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of satan". Wolves (satanists) clothed as sheep (a CHARITY).

Yes, i have just broken my oath, and am happy to die for my brothers and sisters. I am invincible, until He is done with me. And so are you all. A Christian is someone who BREAKS the fundamental laws of nature (the insatiable ego), and in turn becomes SUPERnatural. We are Human. lets behave as such.

(Regarding the father who wrote a letter to his gay son in which he announced he was disowning him)

What I know is that this "James" decided to make public a private letter, while providing only his side of this story. Conveniently for James, this makes his father look like a very bad man, a real homophobe just like that intolerant Cathy character.

"James" has a need to pit the whole world against his father with this one-sided tale of woe.

Therefore, I don't trust this "James". He comes off as a manipulative, deceptive drama queen.

I have had it with the current administration actions. As a result I called or mailed all my liberal "friends" and relatives and informed them that I blame them and they are no longer welcome in my home. Since I am the major source of money for many in my family this is a real problem for some of them. I told them to go see obama not me. I have also stopped all charitable donations and now send that to Conservative political organization (not necessarily the RNC since more republicans are liberal).

I am PISSED. If you are a liberal I have no use for you. I want a real war between real Conservatives and liberal and I have taken my first shot!

It could be called preemptive marketing. Instead of waiting for some mayor of some city to proclaim his protest of Nabisco graham snacks, they throw the homosexual community a bone with a commercial featuring wholesome, family value homosexuals. People I don't even know are relating a graham cracker with family values. Even when I know it doesn't exist in reality. I bet the majority of homosexuals don't even eat graham crackers. I bet the activists will encourage the gay community to support Nabisco by buying their products. And soon, graham crackers will become more commonly seen in the cracks of their couch cushions.

Grass Smokin' Tyson is a laugh. He be high on himself and thinks of himself as God. While he touts his new 'religion', he simply mirrors the old religion. Starting with the Big Bang (Creation), Tyson squats on a calendar to illustrate time and starts with Creation and how planets were formed then stars came to life (Let There Be Light) and the relatively sudden appearance of life, then man (Garden of Eden) then he expounds on the end of life (Noah), and re-birth of life. It is all the same story. Tyson Is oblivious to the fact that he's confirming (and abridging) the same story told in religious texts and using high-end graphics simplify the story for simpletons (just like religious text). It's no different. What is different is the Satan-like, doped-up look in Tyson's face as he watchs volcanic and fire death of Earth, red light flickering over his evil continence. Again, oblivious to religious beliefs, he touts the resurrection of life. Whatta Moe!

In short, the opening of Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey spends an hour (less with commercials) summarizing the naturalistic evolutionary view of the origin of life and all things, tricks out the story with colorful computer-generated graphics and photography, and dismisses any religious-based objections by echoing Bruno’s 16th century challenge that our view of God must simply be too small, thus inviting the theistic evolutionary view to become comfortable in the notion that God used a toolkit of star stuff to create us. (Read more about the problems with compromising the plain teachings of God’s Word with the fallible and unverifiable claims of evolution and billions of years in “10 Dangers of Theistic Evolution,” “Feedback: Theistic Evolution,” “Jesus, Scripture and Error: An Implication of Theistic Evolution,” and “Theistic Evolution: An Incoherent and Inconsistent Worldview?”)

The scientific method has led to the discoveries and technological leaps that shape our lives and our understanding of the universe. Unfortunately, when it comes to the topic of unobservable origins, mainstream scientists who believe big bang cosmology and molecules-to-man evolution think that the god-free framework they have invented is a factual reality that accurately and reliably describes a past they can never examine. They test their ideas about the past within their own concept of what the past was like, and they believe they are actually using the scientific method to make observations about the past.

Despite the admonition to “question everything” and to “reject” ideas that “don’t pass the test,” the fact that abiogenesis violates the fundamental laws of biology is ignored. Evolutionary blind faith in a “great mystery”—such as that invoked by Bill Nye in the recent Nye-Ham Debate—trumps the scientific method. Why? Because molecules-to-man evolution must have happened for Darwinian notions of origins to be true.
