“Could you point me to the thread or link of evidence that backs up evolutionary theory?”
Why? You have no intention of coming to understand it.
“From what I have read (and I'm thinking that you are a better researcher than I) most of the 'fossil' finds as well as Piltdown man, etc have been debunked.”
Yes, Piltdown Man has been debunked. By scientists.
And Nebraska Man was a mistake. It’s been corrected. By scientists.
All in all, though, the greater number of fossils found have not been discredited.
“And unless I'm mistaken, there has been no 'fossil' that shows inter-species evolution.”
See, you’re expecting macroevolution in the space of two generations. You’re not interested in the actual theory.
“I'm not saying that animals cannot 'adapt' or physically mutate according to their environment/surroundings...I'm talking about jumping the species barrier.”
Speciation. Look up ‘examples of speciation.’ It’s been observed. It happens.
“Naturally, not through scientific gene-manipulation.”
Which is the same mechanism as natural evolution, just faster.
“Oh, by the way. "Acquired characteristics" is actually in the Bible, did you know that? Read the story of Jacob and the 'spotted' livestock.”
No, it’s not, by the way.
The parent generation of goats did not acquire the spots. So it’s not an acquired characteristic that was passed on. You’re dumber than I thought, and I had a really low opinion before this.
Monotone goats looking at straked sticks while having the sex then have straked babies? that’s not even a mutation, it’s magic. Sympathetic magic to get the sticks’ traits applied to the offspring. Like when people pour water on the ground, trying to get the sky to rain.
To be an acquired characteristic would have had Jacob paint dots or stripes on all the goats, THEN let them copulate, and the kids come out dotted or striped. But that’s still sympathetic magic, not evolution or even biology.
