Given that the kids usually get HIV through breastfeeding or a transfusion, and that it is INCREDIBLY FUCKING RARE for that to happen... for both kids to get HIV that way would be so unlikely that you might as well class it as impossible.

Well, since you insist on fruitfully multiplying past the earth's capacity to sustain life in a world where all fish in the ocean will be extinct by 2048... losing one child leaves you ten or more that will also have ten or more children exponentially. Astounding. Despite displaying the knowledge that straight people can give each other AIDS he seems to think that it has to originate from a gay man. If he weren't barking mad he would realize it makes more sense to execute straight people, who are infected with HIV, than it does to kill gay men who don't carry the virus.
BTW. The fact that AIDS wasn't brought to this country by a Harvard Student coming home from spring break, a Kennedy returning from safari, or even a Christian missionary returning from his/her mission is pure chance.

It is already punishable by law for someone of any sexual persuasion to neglect to inform someone they plan to do the deed with that they have a dangerous STD. Besides that, it would be pretty difficult for an HIV positive homosexual to give an STD to a straight person seeing as that would require sex they are not interested in.

If you have had any public health training at all, you would know how that could have been prevented.
Also - TB and HIV don't kill you immediately . Unless you've gotten the totally-resistant strain (which is a scary thing, but hasn't been reported in the Americas or Europe yet), TB can be treated effectively. HAART therapy brings the life expectancy of HIV patients up to several decades.

anyones death is a sad event for someone. There were many cases where the risk of infection by blood transfusions was notknown, or the blood was not tested and the donor did not know he was infected. Over time those sort of infeections have been greatly reduced or eliminated.

A long period between infection of HIV, signs of HIV and then HIV become AIDS can mean a lot of people who inknowingly had high risk behavior may be only know experiancing the overt symptoms. I have heard times if 10 years for HIV/AIDS.

If homosexual men don´t have sex except with men, wouldn´t it be more logical to think that it´s HER HUSBAND, not the wife, the one who got infected in a kind of bi curiosity experience?. Or why looking for sex with a person who obviously doesn´t feel attracted to in the first place?. Asuming that the man did have a phase in which he was not sure about his sexuality, in no way would he have infected the girl, because he would have sex with men after realising he doesn´t like women, or not?. And let alone the fact that Lesbians are out of the picture, HIV is not a gay disease.
