Then you are saying every Mexican, Honduran, Arab baby born in the USA (anchor babies) could be president. I don't think so as they would have no allegiance to the USA because his father had allegiance to another country. Two Al Quida operatives very well could sneak across the border, have a baby here & you think that baby could be president. If that is what our founding fathers really thought, they really were not too bright! I doubt they were that ignorant! That is the reason for the two citizen parents.

They won't become president unless they make it rich and appeal to a wide variety of voters. And the only "natural-born" requirement is for the candidate to be born here, not his parents.
If there's any comfort, then it means that Ted Cruz would be ineligible to run for president.

Like Chester A. Arthur, you mean? Or, for that matter, like George Washington?
"Two Al Quida operatives very well could sneak across the border, have a baby here & you think that baby could be president."
Yes; why not? Charles Manson was also constitutionally eligible to be president.
There isn't any requirement for two citizen parents. That's exactly what got so many knickers in a twist when Obama was elected.
Go back 150 years and you'd find people complaining that with all these ignorant immigrants we might someday end up with an Irish president.

Well he probably wouldn't do any worse than some of the grownup presidents you've had, so sure- all hail President Baby!
WND commenters love to cite quotes, however fictitious, from Thomas Jefferson, whose mother was born in England. Andrew Jackson's parents were born in Ireland. And I didn't notice the howls of protest over Mitt Romney, whose father was born in... Mexico.
Born on U.S. soil = eligible. That's it. Nothing more, no requirement for a US born parent. One little bit you may have been confused over; a US citizen mother can give birth off U.S. soil, and her child is automatically a U.S. citizen through her citizenship.
Stop being a dumbass.
"That is the reason for the two citizen parents."
But what if four Al-Queda operatives sneak into the US and have 2 babies, who then produce a grandchild who is born in the US . . . but wait - the original 4 aren't citizens, so the next 2 aren't citizens so the one isn't a citizen.
Wait, I know - 8 Al-Queda operatives sneak into the US illegally . . .

According to you loonies they've already done this with Obama.
1st Question
What are the odds of even becoming president? There have only been 43 different people sworn in over almost 240 years.
2nd Question
Why do that when setting off a bomb is easier, cheaper, and has a lower risk of failure?
Shortly after becoming president, Chester A. Arthur began making his secret plans to turn the United States into a territory under Irish control. By using ancient Celtic magics, he summoned an army of selkie troops along the East Coast to enforce his devious will.
Confused?
