Keep Praying!

Evolution is not the thing that defines atheism. What defines it is your inability to prove God's existence.

7/24/2014 3:39:17 AM

Goomy pls

Well, it's been proven, so in the immortal words of Jim Bunning, "Tough shit."

I think you need to spend less time trolling Yahoo and more time working on your spelling context.

Live in a piece of what?

7/24/2014 4:08:04 AM

Mister Spak

Unfortunately, we have the fossils. We win.

7/24/2014 4:17:31 AM

Ah, yes. That bygone era of worldwide peace back when religion reigned supreme. That was a good 47 seconds.

7/24/2014 4:20:30 AM

It would be great if evolution was disproven once and for all.

It would be great if I was a trillionaire.

Then there'd be no more Atheists

Raelians. Buddhists. Skeptics of religion who are comfortable with the answer "I don't know" with regard to the origins of human beings and prefer "I don't know" over "God did it".

and we'd all live in piece.

Just like Israel and Palestine. Not a whole lot of atheists there and it's a virtual utopia.

7/24/2014 5:20:54 AM

You would still have to prove creationism.

7/24/2014 5:54:28 AM

Doubting Thomas

Uhh, what? Oh, you must be making the false assumption that only evolution or biblical creationism are the only two possible answers for how life came to be. You know what? Even if someone could disprove every aspect of evolutionary theory, that doesn't mean that creationism wins by default. It means we look for other scientific answers. And if you want biblical creationism to be the one true answer, then you better get started actually trying to prove it for once.

I hate to burst their bubble, since I know their faith hinges so much upon scientific evolution being false, but that's just the way it is.

a bit late for that...

Evolution does not equal atheism

"Once more the Sith will rule the galaxy! Then we will have peace."

Man who has girl in field has piece on earth.

7/24/2014 6:37:38 AM

It would be great if religion was abandoned once and for all. Then there'd be no more Fundies and we'd all live in a piece of pie.

Started fixing that for you, then just decided to wing it.

7/24/2014 6:52:02 AM

Dr. Razark

Yes, once evolution is disproved, everyone will realize the truth that Odin, Vili, and Ve formed the earth from Ymir's corpse, and humans were then created by Odin, Hoenir, and Lodur.

7/24/2014 6:54:03 AM

A lot of religious people accept evolution, which has been proven (using layman's terms) again and again and again.

There were atheists long before Darwin and Lamarck were born, silly.

A piece of what?

7/24/2014 6:58:43 AM

Thinking Allowed

...and in the real world...

Kaykay, if it bothers you so bad, why do you do something to disprove evolution. If you do that, just imagine the millions you can make starting with the Nobel prize.

7/24/2014 6:58:44 AM

Big JIlm

So there was eternal world piece before Darwin discovered and documented concepts of Evolution?

Surely ye jest!

7/24/2014 6:59:03 AM

Hasan Prishtina

There are religious people who believe in evolution and atheists existed before the theory was developed. BTW, in which "piece" would you live?

7/24/2014 7:34:17 AM

Wishful thinking of the highest order.

7/24/2014 7:39:05 AM

rubber chicken

It would be even better if I was God-Emperor of the Human Galactic Diaspora but there you go...

7/24/2014 7:43:01 AM

Darwinius masillae. Ardipithecus. The fact we human share at least 98% of our DNA with Chimpanzees. Darwin proved right. The shitloads of other evidence.

What do you fundies have to 'prove' otherwise? A book. And... that's it.

And that's worked out soooooo well for you, hasn't it?! [/hyper-sarcasm]

'It would be great if evolution was disproven once and for all', you say? Well, just one word does far worse to your precious 'Pipe Dream' than what Leonidas & co. did to Xerxes & co.: 'If.' [/Spartan Laconic Wit]

@Arctic Knight

"Evolution does not equal atheism"

To quote Presbyterian Christian Dr. Buzz Aldrin, re. the Apollo 11 Moon Landing:

'It is a magnificent testimony to the evolution of humankind'

You want to suggest otherwise to his face, you go right ahead, mm'kay Kay...?! >:D

7/24/2014 8:04:03 AM

Well, since evolution is real and there is a great deal of evidence behind it, you will not be able to disprove it.
As for living in piece, that can be arranged with some cutting implements. I would recommend that you study your holy book a bit less and your grammar books a bit more.

7/24/2014 8:08:55 AM

Guess again.

You'd still have to contend with the facts of consciousness.
