Some of the most anti-Southern Northerners are among the ones who have moved here. Sure, they hate us - and they do so openly - but they also need us and want to live among us. I don't think the North in general will just sit back and let us throw the US out of Dixie. I am certain that we will be in for a fight, especially in the areas of Dixie that have been most subject to Northern migration (e.g., Maryland, Virginia, Florida, and elsewhere).
As an aside, we need to start thinking in terms of them leaving us rather than as us leaving them. They are the invaders.

No, Southron, you need us Northrons for your Public Assistance benefits, which you use more, only to decry those same benefits as "Big Gubmint" due to many of you possibly having fewer branches in you family trees.
And many Northrons move to Southronland because we like the climate, the mountains, etc. Despite containing a denser concentration of dense people, the region is still quite a lovely, scenic place with a fine climate.
And, we're not invading because, we're U.S. citizens like you.

Judging from the transplanted New Yorker I met while visiting relatives in South Carolina earlier this month, they think the racist attitude down there is totally disgusting. A sentiment I agree with.

I'm from Maryland, and with the exception of a few ass-backwards areas, we are not like you. We don't believe what you do and to be honest, the vast majority of us do not want you here. We stopped being a Southern state a looong time ago. Economically, politically, socially and linguistically, we are not Dixie. We're northern. We don't tolerate racism and you and your ilk are not welcome.

I moved from Massachusetts to Tennessee when I was 2 years old back in 1996 and have been living here ever since, and I'll tell you from the mouth of a Northron invader that I'll fight you racist cretins who are hellbent on keeping the South a backwards shithole (really, like you've been doing since Reconstruction). And I know I'm not alone on that, and I know plenty of native Tennesseans who will join me. It's probably the same all throughout the South, including in places like Mississippi and Alabama.

I'm one of your Northern invaders (from Michigan) to your beloved South (Virginia). Thankfully, I haven't noticed a lot of overt racism in my area. It tends to piss me off like those jerkoffs who feel compelled to put up their Confederate flags.
