There is nothing in the Bible about same-sex marriage, because it is the wrong argument. Satan loves to get people arguing over the wrong thing. While the world is arguing whether or not they should be married, the Bible is arguing whether or not they should be alive. Don't get mad at me, God authored the Bible and said that homosexuality is a crime in His government, punishable by death in Leviticus 20:13. Granted, that seems overly harsh to me as well, but I didn't make the rules and write the Bible, God did. I don't question God's Word. I'm not as righteous as God, so I cannot fathom God's justice and laws. I cannot grasp someone being cast into Hell forever, but God said it and that settles it! I don't question my Creator, I choose to trust and love Him because He first loved me (1st John 3:16).

"While the world is arguing whether or not they should be married, the Bible is arguing whether or not they should be alive."
You should be arguing over what the Koran says because Islam is the real religion. Satan loves to get people arguing over the wrong thing.
PS Islam allows men to have sex with 9 year old girls. You should consider converting.
While the world is arguing whether or not they should be married, the Bible is arguing whether or not they should be alive .
The first part is a legitimate question while the second is yet a violation by the Bible of the Golden Rule against innocent people doing their business between them : if we are in the business to send homosexuals to the graveyard then we should also send child rapists like you.
Saudi Arabia is nice this time of year and, if you follow Mister Spak's advice and become the spiritual brother of people like ahmed2010 then you would be fine there.
There is nothing in the Bible about being on probation on Guam, because it is the wrong argument. The Bible, indeed Jesus himself, says something else about those who do things that merit such a course of action: "it were better for him that a millstone be hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea" (Mark 9:42). I understand that there is a lot of sea around Guam.

In other words, "I can't help it if God is a sadistic monster, that's just the way he is and I still love and worship him anyway."
Judging from all of DJS's other rants, I bet he really doesn't care if people get killed for being gay or spend an eternity in Hell. I bet he salivates over that.
It always infuriates me when I read this attitude. It smacks of cowardice.
"_I_ didn't say you should be tortured. I just said that God says you should be tortured... and that I agree with him."
If someone tells me their friends thinks gay people should be killed, I'll tell them that I think their friend is a scum bag and wonder why they are friends with them. Just because their friend is invisible and comes from an old book doesn't make it any less immoral.
Not a whole lot in the bible about farming potatoes either. Doesn't make it wrong by any measure.
When you have to slap "God said to do it" onto any argument to justify it to yourself or give it any weight whatsoever when you present it to other people you've basically already admitted that you know you're doing something wrong. That was the entire point behind prohibitions against creating idols or similar images of God or famous prophets and taking God's name in vain. A point actual believers in the religions that enforce those rules have so grossly misinterpretted it gives me a headache.
"I don't question God's Word. I'm not as righteous as God,"
Well, I do question your god, and I know I am MORE righteous than your god because I am willing to love and forgive unconditionally. So, if I ever meet your god, I will demand it apologizes to everyone who has ever lived.
"God authored the Bible and said that homosexuality is a crime in His government, punishable by death in Leviticus 20:13"
So is eating shellfish and wearing mixed fabrics clothing.
So, could we see the labels on your shirt?
The old "I didn't say it. God did!" cop out, as if that exonerates one who espouses it and repeats it from the implications of it.
Believe god's word! It's easier than thinking!!
"God authored..."
"God did."
"God said..."
"He first loved..."
But you haven't established that he exists.
"Granted, that seems overly harsh to me..."
"I cannot grasp someone being cast into Hell forever..."
vs.
"I'm not as righteous as God..."
It sounds like you know deep down that you are more righteous than the god you worship.
"There is nothing in the Bible about same-sex marriage, because"
...your 'God' therefore approves of such. Otherwise, he'd come down here now (and no, not 'Jesus', he's not allowed; God himself a la Morgan Freeman in "Bruce Almighty" at least, or a case of 'No Showee, no Existee ') and make a Federal case out of it.
...but he doesn't. Why is this, Davey-boy? I'll tell you why:
Because of what your 'God' orders in his own 'Word': Romans 13:1-5.
And that's good enough for us . [/hyper-paradox]
There is nothing in the Bible about computers, the Internet, America, guns, cars and airplanes. I guess they are all wrong too...
The world (well, about half of it) isn't arguing whether or not they should be married, but are simply marrying them.
There are A LOT of silly not-even-misdemeanors that are punishable by death according to the Bible. Cutting your beard, I think. You've never done that, have you, Kiddy-Diddler?
God didn't write the Bible, goat-herding men with agendas did.
Have you sold all your possessions and given the money to the poor yet? No? Why are you questioning God's Word?
No, Diddler, the right to not be murdered for being gay isn't a legitimate argument any good person should be having. Now, the arguing whether or not pedophiles should be put down like the sick dogs they are...
If you dont question your creator, then why have you not gotten busy on the murder of homosexuals? Dont give me the old "Thats the old testiment" crap.....if that is the case, why pose the Leviticus passage? You are a blowhard hypocritical putz.
You religious freaks scare the hell out of me. You people are seriously diluted. I can't wait for the end to come to you and you realize that there is no heaven, no jesus, and no god. Oh, wait, you will be dead and you won't realize that. Crap, you will never realize that you were wrong about life on earth, or the universe.
Yeah, yeah.yeah, we know.
God hates queers and love kiddehumpers...
BTW, Lev 20:13 addresssed homosexuality within a specific context--jewish participation in non-Jewish religious worship which included temple prostitution) and identified this as a religious, not moral, offense: the word the KJV translates as "abomination" is the old hebrew word to'evah, which denotes "ritually impermissible"--the same word used most commonly to condemn idolatry. If the authors intended to identify it as a moral offense they'd ahve used a different word ("zi'mah").
Confused?
