(Commenting on an article asking if Christians are willing to go to jail for their beliefs)
No religious group on earth has ever faced persecution like we Christians do today. I will serve time for the Lord, but it's a shame that I will have to.

Poor American Christian. I bet the people you demonize and whose rights you campaign to take away dare to criticize you! I bet you're not able to impose your religion on the whole country through force of law! I bet people keep pointing out how ridiculous your beliefs are, and how they contradict science! I bet people who disagree with you are allowed to!
An estimated 6 Million Jews would disagree with you, my friend.
You wanna see anti-Christian persecution? Ask those nice folks in Iraq who were purged from their towns by the I.S.
...or that nice lady in Pakistan who got in a tiff with two Muslim women over a glass....and is now about to be executed for "Blasphemy".
Purged/Chased Out/Enslaved by Wahhabi nuts...
Getting executed for saying something disparaging about Mohammed during an argument...
Being told not to go hating on LGBTs...
*singing*
ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHER...ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT THE SAME.......
Typical martyr complex.
Every fundamental christian wants to be persecuted to show off his martyrdom.
And because they want it so badly, they see persecution in everything, no matter how ridicioulus the idea is...
Oh please. Spare me. Billy Christian is mistaking having his license to persecute others in the name of his religion taken away for being persecuted himself. Christians are very much a privileged majority in the US. I don't see anyone expelling them from their homes, genociding them, torturing them, exiling them, etc. Billy Christian is probably sitting in a nice comfy house that no one is about to take away from him, using his First Amendment right that no one is about to take from him. Besides, I'm pretty sure it says somewhere in the Bible that one should take persecution as a good sign.
Basically, Billy Christian, the First Amendment says I can't make you shut up, but I would politely ask you to do so anyway.
Apparently we have a young refugee here in Sweden whose father was stabbed to death outside their home because of his fight for religious rights. His mother was beaten and raped in front of him and later died of her injuries. His uncle managed to smuggle him out and he ended up here. Our immigration authorities are not convinced that he has proper needs for protection, and want to send him back.
But that's nothing to poor little Billy, who's no longer able to persecute fags, niggers and kikes like he used to do...
Seriously, he lives in one of the most Christian-friendly countries* in the world, but that's not enough for him; he wants special privileges and higher status than non-Christians.
* I guess he's American, as he writes on Wing-Nut Daily.
Boo-fuckin'-hoo, motherfucker.
Tell it to that pond in Poland that's been a nice shade of grey since 1945. It's grey from the horrifying amounts of ash that used to be the an unknown number of Jews that were slaughtered like animals, burned like trash and dumped into that pond like sewage.
So now you can't beat faggots to death with total impunity or shove creationist nonsense down the throats of this nation's youth? Oh, you poor thing!
Cry me a motherfucking river - your tears taste so very refreshing.
I'm sure the Jews, gypsies, homosexuals and others murdered en masse by the Nazis disagree. I'm also sure that the Tutsis massacred by Hutu extremists disagree. Yet again, I'm sure that blacks living in apartheid South Africa disagree, and I'm sure that many more do too. Please forgive me for not caring about western Christians not being able to bully and dictate what others do with their lives, when other groups have had to suffer greatly throughout history; though it's not like you give a damn about that, because, if you did, you'd realise how disproportionate, ridiculous and disrespectful your petulant whining is. Your "persecution" isn't worth wasting my compassion on.

Uh... yeah, Ibuki could come up with a couple of arguments against Billy-chan here, but she's pretty sure that they've all been brought up already. So with that in mind, she'd just like to reiterate that Billy-chan probably has no idea what persecution actually means.
(John McEnroe whiny tone)
You CanNOT be serious!
And, BTW, which segment of "we Christians" are you referring to? 'Cause some of the worst persecutions faced by religious groups have been Christians, alright -- at the hands of OTHER Christians. Hence, one of the MAIN reasons the USA has that pesky Establishment Clause in its Constitution.
No religious group on earth has ever faced persecution like we Christians do today.
Right! Because not being able to force everybody to pray to your God in school or having to accept that other people have the right to live by their own convictions is much worse that dying in a gas chamber.

@John
Who's "we Christians"? There are a thousand different Christian sects , and I'll bet you'd gladly persecute 999 of them.
I don't have today's tally in yet, but as of last week, I understand there are over 34,000 of the goofy bastards' sects and they'll kill each other over the tittle of an i.
I will serve time for the Lord...
Meh, you're living in a country where you can't hold political power unless you profess to be a Christian. You're about as likely to be imprisoned for being a Chistian as I am to become President of the USA. And I'm an atheist Briton.
Oh, so we're torturing, hanging, and burning Christians to death in the Western world now? When did this start?
"I will serve time for the Lord, but it's a shame that I will have to."
Uh, I really think Billy's local authorities should be investigating him. Search warrant, look for guns and bombs, confiscate his computer to look for signs of a plan to commit mass murder, etc.
"No religious group on earht has ever faced persecution like we xians do today."
I am not so sure of that Billy boy. Let's see....
The Arians (xians) were persecuted by the proto orthodox xians.
The Cathars (xians) were tortured, killed off and otherwise eliminated by the Catholics during the Albigensian crusade. They no longer exist today.
The Waldensian xians were also brutally punished by the catholics. They at least survived and are a small sect today.
Let's not get into the catholic and protestant shenanagins....
In 1572, St. Barholomew's Day massacre was ordered by the catholic French King to kill all the protestants in France. Oh, I said I would not get into the catholic/protestant gig....
Yeah Billy boy, you are probably correct. The xians have probably suffered more persecution than any religious group in existence. Persecuted by your fellow xians no less.
No religious group on earth has ever faced persecution like we Christians do today.
Excuse me... (cue a long, disbelieving laugh)
You...you were serious? Allow me to laugh even harder at your dumb ass! (does so)
Look, you cannot claim persecution in the USA just because people point out where you're wrong.
Could you tell me:
* how many church's have been closed by order of the US court or government?
* how many Christians have been convicted in the US courts for the non-violent practice of their faith?
* Have any editions of the New Testament been declared illegal?
* has the government started collecting taxes from Christian churches?
* has the Catholic Church been declared a foreign government and do all their employees have to register as employees of a foreign government?
* have any churches been seized by local authorities for non-payment o property tax?
None? Then you really should shut up.
YOU ARE NOT FUCKING PERSECUTED!!!
I'm starting to think we should persecute you though, just to shut you up.
In my neighborhood, there's a rather large suburban church. On Sundays and Wednesday nights, the local police department provides traffic control around them. The nearby public school lets them use their parking lot for attendees.
Tell me more about your persecution. I like a good comedy.
"Serve time for the lord"
So you're typing this from inside prison then? I'm surprised the persecution agenda allows Internet access. Also, tell us how you survived the gas chamber.
And speaking of persecution, tell us exactly what you feel should be done about atheists, homosexuals, and same sex marriages.
Maybe if suddenly we made a plague that targeted nothing but Christians and had 80% kill rate, just maybe you could make that claim.
But no, even including persecution of Christians in some other countries, Christians are quite privileged world wide.
But I bet you don't count the 1 billion Catholics as Christians. Or the Liberal Christians of Northern Europe and most of the Protestants in the USA. Or Orthodox in Russia, Greece, Coptics in Ethiopia. And the various Christians in Arab and Islamic states.
Even then, you're just in America and certain areas of Europe, which is not persecutive towards you. So you fail to qualify even LESS as persecuted if you don't count all those extra Christians that you might disregard.
Oh, no, not another "we american christians are a persecuted miniority!"
If you wanna know what real persecution is like, be a Yazidi in the middle east, you selfish, immoral a**hole. Not being allowed to spread hatred and bigotry is NOT persecution.
Umm, I can name the Jews, the American Indians (not a religion, but not the point), and other non-Christians affected by the Crusades.
The Jews were rounded up, subjected to some of the worst conditions and experiments known to humanity, and then brutally slaughtered to the order of over 6 million. But that pales in comparison - pales , I tell you! - to the horrors of being called mean names on the Internet when you complain about how you don't want to have to treat gays and Muslims like people.
"This is the worst kind of discrimination - the kind against me!"
- Bender, Futurama
@J.T: LMAO great use of the Futurama Quote.
And unfortunately, Jews had to deal with a lot more than just the holocaust. They had to deal with Slavery in Egypt, The crusades by the Roman Catholics, and being blamed for EVERY single libel and disease that one can think of (Ranging from death of historical figures, to putting "Christian blood" in Matzah. Dumb huh?). If anyone has a right to complain about persecution, it's them.
What worries me in these kind of goofballs, is that they don't comprehend they have to abide by the laws the society has set regardless of what they believe in.
That's some terrorist/suicide bomber/whatnot material right there.
Confused?
