It sounds like Bill Nye has more of a sense of humor than the average atheist. God bless him.

That's amazing given that belief in the supernatural is, by definition, outside of the realm of science. Perhaps the word you were looking for was "psychologically". What a coincidence Ray. I was just thinking about Isaac Newton this morning. One of his goals in life was to write a book to explain why the babble had contridictions. He was confident that if he studied it enough, he would figure out the schtick and discover the key to explain all the seemingly contradictions. He never wrote that book. He could never explain away all the contradictions. Or any of the for that matter. How "senseless" is that?

Seen a fair bit of Bill Nye and he does have a good sense of humour, he likes the punny campy goofy stuff best, it's one of his traits that made him a perfect choice to get childrens attention.
Seen a fair bit of Ray Comfort and he has no sense of humor, his idea (and Kirk Camerons) of funny is the same as right wing Republicans: Insulting the left, liberals, the educated and the poor and calling their betters stupid.
In debate circles he's pretty much been nicknamed 'that Douche'.
So, sales figures are now a way to determine the value of a book. OK, Ray, how often have The Origin Of Species or the The Descent Of Man been sold since they were published? How about the books of Alfred Russel Wallace? Or Richard Dawkins?n
