[Arguing whether the serpent lied in the garden of eden]

"Clearly "thereof" does not have the meaning"

Clearly?? Usually, when people write something like this they have reasons that support the idea. What are yours?

Clearly "thereof" does not have the meaning you are desperately trying to give it.

Google, define thereof

How about a dictionary website? Here is one. The definition listed is...

from that cause or particular

Which is pretty much exactly what I wrote before - "Because of this". As usual, you have chosen to disagree with something that is very obvious and easy to demonstrate. Why? Are you a troll?

"thereof" means of something, in this case the fruit."

No, it means because of eating the fruit. How are you this dumb?

" But at least you now you accept..."

I have always accepted that they were cursed to die on the same day they ate the fruit. You may remember, that was my point from the begining. To sum up the argument, it goes like this:

The Bible says, in older translations and not newer ones that accord with modern word use, that Adam and Eve would surely die on the day that they ate the fruit. When they eat the fruit, they are cursed to surely die. You think the fact that they didn't fall down dead that same day means that the whole "surely die" thing never happened. You are totally ignoring the fact that on that day, they are cursed to SURELY DIE, exactly as predicted.

Restating the argument, I hope it is clear that your efforts here are nonsense.

" The second problem you have is that your still implying by your argument that Adam and Eve were created immortal."

Adam is cursed to surely die as a punishment for eating the fruit. Quoting scripture is not "implying" an interpretation.

"Clearly Adam would only live forever if he ate the fruit"

Repeating this doesn't make it true. Sorry to ruin your favorite method of argument. I've already linked the scripture where Adam is cursed to surely die as punishment for eating the fruit. So no, it isn't at all clear that Adam would only live forever if he ate the fruit of Life.

" No, that is not what "ad hominem" means"

a fallacy in which a claim or argument is dismissed on the basis of some irrelevant fact or supposition about the author or the person being criticized

We're done here. I genuinely hope you are a troll. Nobody should be this dumb. If you aren't... just, do the world a favor, and never share your opinion about anything, ever again.

Thanks.
