Could black holes be giant shields for advanced space civilizations?
Perhaps that's why black holes make little sense in science and perhaps its why we cant fin other civilizations with our giant radar arrays or whatever they are, They dont want to be found by any "prison planets" or less technologically sdvanced and more brutal civilizations, so they put up giant shields that make it look and seem like that part of space is just a giant black hole.
