Silly me, I appear to have stumbled into Silent Hill on accident. Oh well, I wasn't really sleeping too well in the first place, so a few extra nightmares won't hurt.

So much wrong with that.
I just made it through Shalebridge Cradle from Thief 3, widely considered to be one of the most terrifying levels in the history of gaming. I have faced down a malevolent orphanage/insane asylum inhabited by the flickering zombie remnants of patients subjected to unethical treatments then burnt alive. I have had to fake my death so that a damn building will forget me long enough to allow me to leave. I have gazed into the abyss of horror and I have not only come out unscathed, I have robbed the shit out of that place in the process.
But this? This freaks me the hell out.

Oh and just for future reference? Whisky and Whiske y are two very different things. Whisky refers to the Scottish whisky. Whiskey with an 'e' refers to Irish or American spirits. This distinction is serious business over here in Scotland and getting it wrong can make people very angry.

Oh god. I've fought through almost every Silent Hill and Resident Evil game that exists, and subjected myself to A Serbian Film, Salo, Martyrs and The Bunny Game.
None of them affected me the way that image is affecting me right now. Thanks for the future nightmares, pro-ana community.

How can one consider mistake the breakdown of the body as it desperately tries to stay alive with beauty?
