Funny how ideas like yours always lead to human atrocities. A ‘fetus’ is a human being passing through a stage of life, not a separate creature. Abortion kills human children.

You're right, it isn't a separate creature. It is entirely dependent upon the body of the woman. Therefore she, and she alone, must have the ability to decide to abort or not. Not you.
A fetus in a Jew's womb is not a person.
A fetus in a Negro's womb is not a person.
A fetus in a Tutsi's womb is not a person.
A Jew, a Negro, or a Tutsi, however, is a person by virtue of having been born.
"A fetus’ is a human being passing through a stage of life, not a separate creature. Abortion kills human children."
No, it's passing through the stage of *becoming* a human being. It doesn't become a child until it's born.
So posters here are saying a baby isn't human until its born? Are you really really sure that's actually your standard? Youre really saying that it should be up to the woman to abort a fully formed and viable baby a week before birth because at that stage its a 'parasite' and 'not a person'?
I'm assuming this is just sloppy argument, and at some point during pregnancy you do support a legal prohibition on abortion, but if you really do think late term abortions are a woman's right I'd be very interested to know your reasoning.

You're right, a fetus is not a seperate creature. It's a non-sentient parasitic mass of cells attached to its mother. It cannot-
Oh, wait, it's Cultureshift. Never mind, they've already proven themselves to be a lost cause. No need to waste my ammo on them.
@meh
I can't speak for anyone else but technically technically speaking a fetus is part of the mother until the cord is cut. Now I am agianst third trimester abortion, and really the earlier the better. Of course a late term abortion is rare as a mother has already chosen to keep their child by that point and only really happen when the life of the mother is in danger.
It's just until it can breath on its own its not a separate life.

Fine. Then you look after all the people that are unwanted babies then.
...thought not. Funny how ideas like yours always lead to the only pragmatic solution. Never seen "Soylent Green" & Elysium"? Q.E. and D.
Retro active abortion should kill subhumans like you , cultureshit.

"That logic is a bit like a child trying to argue with their parents by saying that someday, they'll be an adult, and so they're entitled to the rights of an adult right now."
*chuckles and nods* I've often used that argument on anti-abortion folks who are particularly unable to distinguish between "potential" and "actual". For some reason, they've yet to answer me afterward, not even to tell me how stupid they think that is (as if their argument weren't equally so).
@Jamaican Castle, @Da Rat Bastid
To be frank, I actually think young adults should have some of the same rights--like voting--that adults have. But not, say, drinking, for biological reasons.
No, sorry it's:
Eggs are not chickens
Acorns are not trees
Seeds are not plants
A letter is not a sentence
A step is not a marathon.
A larva is not a butterfly
Funny how ideas like yours always leads to human atrocities. A woman is a human being, not a baby incubator. Most abortions are spontaneous (aka miscarriages).
Jews, black people and Tutsis are all sentient, self-sustaining separate organisms with functioning nervous systems. Embryos, at the stage when almost all abortions happen, have nothing of that.
Confused?
