These poor misguided liberals actually believe that "Bizarro America" is actually MAKING progress!
Despite all of the overwhelming evidence to the contrary. Bankrupt morally and financially, filled with hedonism, violence and selfishness. And her enemies grow
bolder and grow stronger while she's too busy with debates about the "need" for transgender bathrooms and the like!

By progress, we mean that we value the growing acceptance of previously disadvantaged persecuted groups, of which we include the LGBT. In this regard we are certainly making progress. As a secular democracy that values equality for all we don't want to regress back into the mistakes of old where citizens were treated as second class due to their sexuality, gender, or skin colour. These forward steps aren't being felt across much of Africa, unfortunately, hence Obama's call for a growing acceptance.

A country can still be a regional power whilst maintaining a progressive social policy. The answer to combat America's enemies is not linked to a need to increase bigotry. The bigots may be hate filled, but this doesn't make them good soldiers or defence ministers.

NASA.

Does Kenya hava a space program? The only African to go into space - to the International Space Station - was Mark Shuttleworth, a developer of Debian, and is a major investor in Linux, including Ubuntu. SANSA is the only credible space program in Africa, but I hear NASA has a space shuttle or two going for sale; several million miles on the clock, and yours for $2 billion; launch facilities not included.

So many African countries rely on China for infrastructure development (roads etc); if you've got the natural resources to spunk away, you'll have pothole-free driving. Yeah. Even North Korea - with it's US-supplied 20 MeV cyclotron - can launch it's own satellite, you know.

India has it's own space program - with Mars probe - so I'm afraid you can no longer resort to the old chestnut of 'Colonialist Rape of resources' of ages past, so you have no excuse for not making any progress, Africa.

Just ask the ex-farmers of Zimbabwe: the ex-'Breadbasket of Africa'. Yeh, Mugabe's making 'progress' there, sure. RIP Rhodesia.
