@Smart Alec
This board is annoying if you want actual conversation. Quote boards usually are (Clients From Hell, Not Always Right, FSTDT, the comments section is not the place to disagree with the mob). The point of these places is to feel superior.
If you expect decent conversation, there are better sites for this.
p.s. Actual responses:
> What is to stop a group of say.....3 thousand people to release a gas which changes the mind to be....gay and somehow managing to shield them alone from the illness and waiting for the rest of the now Homosexual men to die off and then remaking the earth again.....And it's good for the Earth too.
That would be violating the victims' right to bodily integrity, a subset of their property rights. There are cases where taking and messing with others' property is seen as worth it (taxation), but population reduction is usually seen as not one of them.
> It is possible to not want gay marriage without being like hm.....Freddy Phelps.
Who is a nutbag and even I have standards and don't go around calling gay people rude names or shouting in their faces all the time.....I mean I dislike homosexuality as much as most humans do but I only express my option and don't argue or shout at them and.........well if they have sex and don't repent and be chaste they will go to hell but I keep that option to myself.
I am not convinced that most people think gays are destined to hell.
As for not shouting in people's faces... That's nice.
> I meant genes not religion. You guys say that gayness is caused by genes and it's inborn...Right?
Or conditions in the womb. Identical twins have been seen on opposite sides of the fence, so it's not just genes, but it certainly is involuntary.
> What's to stop people from disabling it and making the poor child who's going to have to wonder why such disgusting people did that.
Did what? Gay sex? That's mostly adults who think gay sex is particularly gross; little kids trend to think sex in general is disgusting and wonder why people do it.
> You see...there is a rather good website and it has a testimonial of a gay teenager deciding to be chaste. He is a brave boy for I couldn't make that same choice if I was in his case.
Unsurprisingly, since most of us see no point in this course of action, it seems tragic. He's been raised in a tradition that leads to denying himself a common pleasure for no good reason.
