In May of 2012 a tragic story made headlines in Tennessee after a disgruntled husband killed his wife and oldest daughter, allegedly kidnapping the two youngest girls. Speculation is still circulating as to whether the two girls are his biological daughters (likely they are which means he’s not a kidnapper). I always hate when the newsmedia call a parent a kidnapper. No, the newsmedia are hateful jerks trying to demonize parents (usually the father)—anything to make a story more juicer for the bloodthirsty public. People are so far away from God these days that they get a thrill out of watching others suffer. People love to see the calamity of others, until it happens to YOU. Americans are hypocrites!

A non-custodial parent who takes children and doesn't contact the custodial parent is a kidnapper, regardless of what you think. Reasonable parents put the welfare of the children before their own disagreements with an ex-spouse.
Is your relationship with your children and ex-wife why you had to move to Guam?
likely they are
And you base your conclusion on what?
demonize parents (usually the father)
Yes! Because a man who murders his wife and oldest daughter is, of course, a model parent for the two younger girls.

I hadn't heard about this until *you* mentioned it.
I googled for 2012 murders and kidnapping in Tennessee, and in the story I got, the killer was not the woman's husband, he was the husband's friend, a former brother-in-law from a previous marriage.
I'm actually going to give DJS the benefit of doubt and assume maybe I got the wrong case, or my information is wrong, even though he (DJS) doesn't deserve it.

Unfortunately for your attempt to be charitable the actual events do not change David Stewart's stance on what he believed happened: Namely he thinks we're monsters for believing a man could be unjustified in murdering two members of his family and then forcibly abducting or confining the remaining two possibly to murder them later down the road. He defended O.J. fucking Simpson previously so this is a fairly consistent belief of his. Not insisting on his innocence - that stretches belief far enough - but defending his motives for killing his family.
Children are toys to this perverse bastion of backhanded moralization, specifically a father's property and when the family gets out of line... well they're his toys. He can break them or throw them out if he wants. And if he has to take his property at gunpoint well it's his property so it's not stealing even if they've been placed in another's custody by a court order.
... Yeah I am not in a good mood now. Somewhere between streamroller and chainsaw.
Trying to demonize parents? Love to see the calamity of others? He MURDERED their mother and sister, asshole; he has forfeited every right he has ever had to be a father to them.
You, as a parent, can't remove your children from their permanent place of residence without the other parent's consent. Then you ARE a kidnapper. This is to help protect the best interest of the child , not the parent's.
You're a hypocrite!
"Speculation is still circulating as to whether the two girls are his biological daughters (likely they are which means he’s not a kidnapper)."
Child molester in court: "I plead Not Guilty because I only ever had sex with OTHER people's children, never MY OWN! So I'm not guilty of INCEST!! Meaning I shouldn't be considered to have done anything CRIMINAL!!!"
Anytime a person, even a biológical parent, takes kids who are not under their custody, it's kidnapping. Would you reactor the same way if a biológical mother abducted her kids from their adoptive parents or if a gay man snatched his biológical kid(one conceived through artificial inseminación, for example). That's why
As has been pointed out here, any non-custodial parent taking children is considered kidnapping under the law. Doesn't matter if they're biologically related or not. And I'm really scratching my head at someone whining about a murderer being demonized in the media. I'd think the actual murder would be enough to make him a bad person.
And why is it these horrible men like David J. Stewart always hate when other horrible men are called out for their horrible behavior?
Parents often deserve to be demonized. The most recent one I read about was some head case that tossed her 1 month old son out of a 4th story window, somewhere in NY. She claimed he was possessed by an evil spirit. I'd say she deserves to be demonized, among other things.
Just shut your fucking mouth, you useless pedo. Everyone hates you.
If I took my brother across state lines against his will, I'm a kidnapper (and he's old enough to drink!). Kidnapping has nothing to do with whether or not one is related to someone. Now, custody may be an issue, and in this particular case, we have someone that murdered his wife and one daughter taking the other two.
Let me repeat. He murdered the wife. He murdered the oldest daughter. He then absconded with (possibly) his remaining female offspring. No part of this sounds like a misunderstood father getting demonized for spending time with his kids. This is a psycho abducting children...
Wait, you're just trying to justify your own behavior, aren't you Crazy PedoDave? Someone cut his net connection...
...the two girls are his biological daughters (likely they are which means he’s not a kidnapper)
Technically not a kidnapper, just a murderer. See? He's not such a bad guy, after all, give him a break, sheesh.
I actually think this is Davey's most WTF-worthy quote yet. Can we get it in the Top 100?
@The Crimson Ghost: Holy shit, link?
"People are so far away from God these days that they get a thrill out of watching others suffer."
You mean like you're doing right now? Taking a tragedy that has nothing to do with your religion and twisting it to your own ends at the expense of the respect the victims deserve?
Remind me, what's a hypocrite again?
@OHP
Well, Davey-boy already has the millstone round his neck - and back - of that spinal pain 24/7/365, so there is that.
All it'll take, is one day, you in the bath, and you have a spasm - or worse that prevents you from saving yourself from drowning ...! >:D
Simply take heart in the fact that he's suffering . And we're not . [/Schadenfreude ]
Confused?
