- No, most of it is focused on, ya know, PARENTHOOD, like providing healthcare for poor mothers and their children, and things like birth control, mammograms, ultrasounds, sex-ed, pregnancy tests.
- So, if they do pap smears, they do MORE than abortion, right?
- Lose dose birth control and defective condoms? What does the first mean, and have you any evidence for either?
- Why shouldn't they charge for pregnancy tests? It's a service they provide, isn't it. Don't you want to be paid for your work, Morgana? So, they do pregnancy tests too? Yet another thing that they do besides abortions, then?
-Why won't they let women see the ultrasounds? So, they do ultrasounds too, besides abortions, pap smears, birth control and pregnancy tests? Your first premise is getting more and more wrong with each line, honey.
- In order to understand it properly, you need to add a bit of graphic elements. Still, it's just plastic models, cross sections, not actual human beings. So, besides abortions, pap-smears, pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, birth-control, they do sex ed as well?
- Funny, when I google "Planned Parenthood mammograms", I get a lot of clinics offering their services.
- Abortions don't bring in that much money. None of the stupid expensive extra obstacles, that the anti-choice crowd have put on the abortion process, reaches PP, ya know. And they probably only charge for the time, the nurse and/or doctors and the equipment used. As only about 3 percent of PP's work concerns abortions, they could trudge along well without them.
If they closed, you'd have many more sick poor children needing welfare, more teenage pregnancies and MANY MORE abortions (as people would lack access to birth control), and (as they'd be much more unsafe) more women dying or getting infertile from abortions.
