Re: Attn: Atheism is Unreasonable. A philosophical examination.
If existence does not exist, then neither do you. Thats how we can know that God exists.

"If existence does not exist, then neither do you."
Well, on the most stupidly basic level, you're right. It's really un-necessary for you to point it out, but thanks for the help. For clarity, I *do* exist.
"Thats how we can know that God exists."
No. Just because some things exist it doesn't necessarily follow that God exists.
There is no evidence for the existence of God therefore I am an atheist. Produce honest, clear evidence for God's existence and I'll abandon atheism. Of course, on that cold day in July, as the pigs fly by, we'll see you crowned king of the geniuses.
Smeagol: that's the best laugh I've had in a long time.
Seriously, you stupid Fundie fuck, existence exists, and God has nothing to do with it.
Hmm, there seems to be a whole lotta premises, arguments and conclusions missing in the middle. I just love how fundies argue. They state a fact. Then they say, "Thus, god."
"Gaping flaw in the argument: Why does God have to exist for existence to exist?"
Well duh, because God TOLD us nothing can exist without him. Are you calling God a liar ??
(sarcasm)
What? *reads three times to try to understand stupidity*
Um... atheists don't believe in God, but they believe in existence. Of course, there's always some philosophers that question existence, but we know we exist because 'I think, therefore, I am.' We haven't met God, and we don't know if he thinks. Therefore, how can we be sure he exists?
But that's not the point. I don't really believe that there's a white bearded guy in the sky. It's a Flying Spaghetti Monster! :-D
Are you aware that when you make an argument, it actually has to make sense?
Well, I guess it's different for special people...
"If existence does not exist, then neither do you. Thats how we can know that God exists."
That is logical and it is also true. However, it cannot be used as an argument because nothing in the world is sufficient evidence for the claim that the universe is not just a thing but an expression of a being.
Yours truely,
God
