/The feminists./
You called?
/They hate men/
The majority of us don't. We recognize that there are good and bad apples, just like there are bad and good women.
/they hate being women/
We're trying to free women from oppression and guarantee them equal rights. How does that show hate for them?
/and they hate anything that represents the female sex./
Like what? Frilly pink gowns? Shopping sprees? Are those things that you would consider as representations of femininity?
/They want to make women into men,/
Correction, we want to make women equal to men.
/and the fact that women have babies is something they cannot get away from unless they can eliminate that fact via abortion. These people are not compassionate, they are militant. They believe abortion is necessary because men are tyrants and women's bodies are a biological trick perpetrated upon the downtrodden female masses./
Abortion is a complicated issue, at least it is for me, and for you to reduce it to such laughably simple terms is pitiful. Do you seriously believe that most women have abortions because it's the "popular" thing to do or because they don't want to gain a few pounds? My father is a pro-choice doctor (NO, he does not perform abortions, you can hold your fire). He says that most of the "culture of life's" supporters live in upper middle-class neighborhoods and have no idea what they're talking about. He says they should take a trip to the Bronx or a similar neighborhood and see how well the "culture of life" fares there.
By the way, did you know that abortion is not always the woman's choice? Like when a girl's father makes her get an abortion so that her mother won't know about the inbred baby? Or when a sleazebag makes his girlfriend get one, because having a baby is 'too inconvenient?'
Of course, many women sincerely want to have children and raise a family. Feminists are not taking that option away from them. We are just making sure that there are options for those who don't want to follow that route. Choices, 1ke, that's the key.
