Hi I would just like to say that I read your little arguement on the fact of why you do not believe in God. Ok understandable, however it is more fucked up not to believe in anything at all than to believe in any organized religion. Look at what you said, you obviously are a subject to brainwashing techniques and that is why I pity you. You think because 2000 years ago we "as in humans" "a creation in God" thaught the earth was flat it gives us justification that there is no such thing in God. I mean what the hell? That is a totally ubsurd comment. Do you want to know what atheism really is, what it consists of? Let me tell you since you obviously are full of bull shit yourself as well as the rest of your little atheism nation that consists of numbers far below of any religion or beliefs in the world. Ok atheism is no more than a made up belief of a conjuring anger towards the ramification of the world and what it has come to be. You as in "atheists" want to believe that, wait hold on I am waisting my time to a person who will never change because he or she is a stupid dumb ass, I forgot ignorance is bliss and so are your beliefs. I want try to help you in fact I want to watch your flesh burn right off your body, so forget what I said and enjoy Armageddon because it is coming soon, and hopefully when the world is turning inside and out I will get to see your corpse and laugh. So, enjoy.

We're not the ones being brainwashed, honey; you are. Most of us reasoned our way out of religion on our own.

No, we have no problem with HUMANS teaching that the Earth is flat. We do have a problem with an omnipresent creator god not knowing that he created a spherical Earth. And, that is just one of the many, many, many, many reasons religions don't make sense.

No, we already know that atheism is a lack of belief in gods, goddesses and other deities.
Somewhere around 50-75 percent of the Swedish population is non-religious. Most aren't even interested enough to bother calling themselves atheists. It's like, if you were to call yourself a-anything-that-you-don't-believe-in, life would be very complicated; atrollist, ademonist, apeople-under-the-stairist, afairist, etc, etc, in "ubsurdum".

Are YOU going to change if we argue with you? You're a perfect example of that "ignorance is bliss", dearie.

If only fundies realised that we Atheists demand to be proved wrong; 1 Thessalonians 5:21 (KJV) and all that jazz.

...or are we demanding the impossible from you fundies? 'Prove all things', a little something called 'Burden of Proof, no 'Faith' allowed and all that jazz II.

Or with your refusal to answer our questions to our satisfaction - and I refer you to the above scene from "Bruce Almighty" - do you subconsciously admit that we Atheists are right as we have been all along.

We demand to be proved wrong. Charges ignored are charges proved.

You fundies are argumentally cornered. Which is why fundie Christainity is dying, and the world is becoming more secular. Your control over people is becoming as non-existent as your 'God'. And everyone is pointing & laughing at you lot.

Been reading the comments here and my stomach hurts from laughing so much. Thanks, guys, glad you enjoyed it! :D (Well, maybe after five straight minutes of re-reading this in complete shock thinking "What the HELL did I just read?!," like how I reacted the first time I saw it.)
Now, for my own comments:

Not believe in anything AT ALL, AT ALL? Uh, no. That's nihilism. That's not even how atheism works!

Atheism is simply the lack of a god-belief (as the website itself defines it) - simple as that! Besides politics and especially about separatist issues, it doesn't go anywhere farther than that! Most atheists are just regular people who spend little if any time thinking about their atheism or the God-question.

And organized religion is just awful. Just look at the blatant sexism, racism, murder and incest (among other terrible things!) in the Bible and other religious works.

Then take a look at all the churches and mega-churches being built, the amount of super-rich evangelists and hucksters (thanks to that sweeeet tax-free status that they have for no goddamn reason), and all the money that's NOT going to actual causes like feeding the hungry and fighting poverty - and you tell me organized religion is any good for society!

Gawd, talk about a distortion/straw-man. Show me where, in that entire website (and I've read a LOT of it!), the editor of the site said anything remotely like that! Trust me, our reasons for not believing go much, MUCH farther than just people thinking the Earth was flat centuries ago. If you just would look past the big "ATHEISM" word on the front page, you would know that.

And yeah, that IS an "ubsurd" comment. I can't imagine why people would want to put that comment in other people's mouths, it's just so stupid.

Thanks, but NO THANKS. I've been an atheist for three years now, and there are atheists that have been that way for MUCH longer. I'm pretty sure we already have a good grasp of what atheism "really is." You on the other hand, have NO CLUE WHATSOEVER. It's so obvious.

EPIC FAIL. Also, what. "Conjuring anger towards the ramification of the world and what it has come to be"? Fucking WHAT?! Do you even know what those words mean?! Did you just pull those words out of your ass like I think you did?!

Also, "atheism nation," lulz. If you're trying to paint us as extremists trying to form some kind of atheist Taliban, wow did my irony meter just explode. Christians have been trying to set up their own Taliban, here in America, for years. All with their spreading lies about how America is a "Christian Nation" and all the Founding Fathers praised the Bible and the Lord and all that happy crap.
