Somebody doesn't know what the founding fathers were about.
Also that they weren't christian.
"4 is truthful"
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
They're politicians. Oh man, what religion will do to a rational mind.
Actually, it's just ridiculous to give the "Founding Fathers" a collective grade. They weren't angels who harbored all the same sanctified opinions. They argued with each other, and the arguments between them produced some of the worst political vitriol this country has seen. George Washington's own negotiator for a treaty with Britain, who had also been an advocate of the Constitution and the first Chief Justice, was attacked like this by people who objected to the treaty: "Damn John Jay! Damn everyone who won’t damn John Jay!! Damn everyone that won’t put lights in his windows and sit up all night damning John Jay!!!"
As for their religious opinions, I think George Washington and John Adams were pretty conventional, but not very vocal, in their religion. Benjamin Franklin wavered between Christianity and Deism. Thomas Paine mocked and rejected Christianity. Thomas Jefferson's beliefs were somewhere between Christianity and Deism, probably with a lot of Jefferson-style eccentricity thrown in. He produced a version of the Gospels, for his private use, with nearly all the supernatural events physically cut out. The United States as a whole was overwhelmingly Christian in those days, much more so than today, but back then it wasn't necessary to pander to Christians in order to get into office.
None of the Republican candidates would bring freedom, jobs and national security for US citizens, as they are all for protecting Big Companies Only.
Your Founding Fathers were mostly intent on protecting the new American states from the bondage that the State Church put on The Old Country. So, mostly Separation of Church and State, about 200 years before most European states shook off their Christian coil and embraced Human Rights. (Sweden didn't remove its State Church until the year 2000. I was born in the 60's, when everyone was still automatically entered into the Swedish Church at birth, as long as the parents were members. I'm still a tax-paying member, as I think the Swedish Church does much good for people in need, both in Sweden and abroad.) But the US seems to have since regressed about 400 years...
Qualification for voting ought to be "A Citizen of the United States of America".
5. Hates covetousness
So, no Conservatives and barely no Liberals are allowed to vote, then? GREAT!!! Bernie Sanders has already won the election...
I love #2..."Christian religious liberty"! Ha!
(It's not 'religious liberty' if it's just for one religion, you know)
I am afraid.
I am very afraid.
4) Says things that I want to be true.
Fixed that for you.
Also, 'bring freedom, jobs, and national security from God's blessings? ' Are you suggesting that they won't actually do anything? That they'll just say the right things and hope God fixes it? Sounds like a good way to make the country self-destruct.
"Every national church or religion has established itself by pretending some special mission from God, communicated to certain individuals. The Jews have their Moses; the Christians their Jesus Christ, their apostles and saints; and the Turks their Mahomet; as if the way to God was not open to every man alike. Each of those churches show certain books, which they call revelation, or the word of God. The Jews say, that their word of God was given by God to Moses, face to face; the Christians say, that their word of God came by divine inspiration: and the Turks say, that their word of God (the Koran) was brought by an angel from Heaven. Each of those churches accuse the other of unbelief; and for my own part, I disbelieve them all."
Tom Paine, Founding Father.
