Quote# 117337

THIS FUZZY T-REX (UPPER LEFT) IS A COMPLETELY FALSE FABRICATION!
IT IS A VISUALLY METAPHYSICAL DECEPTION, PRODUCED BY THE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SOCIETY'S "JACKALOPIAN" RECONSTRUCTIVE ARTISTS, FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF CONVINCING THEIR READERS THAT THIS UNPROVABLE SILORY (SILLY THEORY) IS A FACT!!

THIS IS A DOGMATIC, RELIGIOUS AND PHILOSOPHICAL "TENET" AND NOTHING MORE. IT IS NOT A TRUE SCIENTIFIC THEORY IN THAT IT CANNOT BE FALSIFIED OR VERIFIED BY EMPIRICAL OBSERVATION.

IT IS A VIOLATION OF COMMON SENSE AND LOGIC, TWO PRINCIPLES OF LEGITIMATE SCIENCE, IN THAT ONLY TRUE BIRDS, BOTH FLYING AND FLIGHTLESS, PRODUCE DOWN THAT IS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY OR UNDERLIES FULLY FORMED FEATHERS.

IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THIS TO BE TRUE, LISTEN TO THE WORDS OF THOMAS HUXLEY.
"Science is simply common sense at its best--that is, rigidly accurate in observation, and merciless to fallacy in logic."

THE CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF OMNIOLOGY IS DEDICATED TO ACADEMIC FREEDOM IN SCIENCE, WHICH IN PART IS THE FREEDOM TO CHALLENGE THE UNIFORMITARIAN, MACRO-EVOLUTIONARY DOGMA OF SCIENTISM TODAY.

THE PRESENT ACADEMIC COMMUNITY DEFINES ACADEMIC FREEDOM AS THE UNIFORM, UNCHALLENGED ACCEPTANCE OF DOGMATIC MACRO-EVOLUTIONARY UNIFORMITARIANISM. ANY SCIENTIST OR WORLD VIEW THAT CHALLENGES THIS "UNIFYING OPINION" IS TOUTED AS A THREAT TO ACADEMIC FREEDOM AND THEREFORE FORBIDDEN.

IN LIGHT OF THIS FACT, CONSIDER THIS QUOTE BY JOHN F. KENNEDY.
"The unity of freedom has never relied on uniformity of opinion."

FOR THE ACADEMIC AND JUDICIAL SYSTEMS TO FORBID THE INCLUSION OF CREATION SCIENCE IN OUR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IS NOTHING LESS THAN "INTELLECTUAL TYRANNY!"

THIS KIND OF ABUSE OF POWER IS THE VERY THING OUR FOUNDING FATHERS WARNED US WOULD HAPPEN IF "WE THE PEOPLE" LET IT. BUT "WE THE PEOPLE" DON'T HAVE TO LET IT CONTINUE IF WE'RE WILLING TO ACT ON THESE WORDS OF THOMAS JEFFERSON.
"I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."

WE HOPE YOU WILL JOIN US IN THE GOOD FIGHT FOR ACADEMIC FREEDOM AND E-MAIL OUR WEB SITE TO EVERY TEACHER, STUDENT, PASTOR AND FRIEND THAT YOU CAN. TOGETHER WE CAN DEFEAT "INTELLECTUAL TYRANNY," BUT ONLY IF YOU CHOSE TO GET INVOLVED.

An "omniologist" should know that Jefferson was referring to the establishment of religion when he wrote that, And consensus based on overwhelming evidence is not what dogma is.

Ta Arceus - a fun new YEC site to wander round.

So an ostrich could be a living ancestor of creatures tha t lived millions of years before they came into existence? Are they fucking time travellers?

@Frogflayer

You're welcome; there's a ton of amazingly hilarious fundie material in there, such as the belief in Giants.

I feel kinda guilty about it though, as Henry Johnson died several years ago, and I feel kind of disrespectful for going to his website and putting quotes from it up here.

LOL! I want to be an omniologist now.

@Arceus

Don't feel bad. Criticising and laughing at some of his ideas isn't disrespecting him as a person. Death isn't a vaccine against criticism.

@FELIX LÆTVS

Yeah, you do make a great point...

But seriously, every user on this website should visit on omniology.com ; it's one of the craziest YEC websites out there!

WE HAVE THE FEATHERY FOSSILS. WE WIN.

Doubting Thomas

Luckily the scientific community has no need to debate with people who think that dinosaur bones were placed in the ground by Satan in order to deceive people into believing in evolution.

Why all the caps? Are you so angry about you being wrong that you shout all the false info on this page?

Funny I see people who fight against feathered dinosaurs are the tyrants. They are anti featherists keeping the truth down because it does not agree with their preconceived views. It's sad that even today most dinosaurs are depicted as scalely giant lizards when that is no longer accurate.

I'd like to see any other explanation for the fuzz along the spine.

@Pink Jackboots

The guys say that feathered dinosaurs like that are extinct flightless birds descended from the ostriches; look in the picture.

Even though it has no beak and has clawed hands.

What Mister Spak said.

Also; Feathery T-Rex is still badass!

Would you say a mighty eagle soaring isn't fierce and awesome?

Would you mess with a big, round, fuzzy, cute bear? They may LOOK huggy but they can tear you to pieces!

Feathers, fur, and fuzz does NOT mean "wimpy".

Just ask this guy....

....It is said that they can rip your arms out of their sockets if you beat them at space-chess!

Road Runner? Really? Was that really the most clever thing you could come up with?

I will summon John Conway with your skull in order to edify the world on feathers.

@Merlin:

time travelling ostriches...that could be a viable cartoon. maybe the ostriches are super evolved eldritch beings from the future studying earth's past, ostriches are just what they look like to us. It could educational and zany with a hint of cthulhu mythos.

You owe me a phial of Visine, asshole.

Also, does this guy realize he is arguing against a strawman argument?
