Maybe the women were just going to another PP because they felt uncomfortable with the group of people standing outside and judging them. It's impossible to tell if this is victory. A victory would be actually changing someone's mind. The way this is phrased, "wore them down", makes it sound like the Pro-lifers were just nuisances.

"because they felt uncomfortable with the group of people standing outside and judging them."

Evidence please. The article says: "The group stood for helping pregnant women choose alternatives to abortion."

Based on that, it sounds like YOU are (unfairly) judging THEM.

"A victory would be actually changing someone's mind."

False. Some people's minds will NEVER be changed on abortion, just as many minds were NEVER changed on slavery and Jew gassing.

A victory is shutting down one abortuary at a time. A victory is saving one baby's life at a time. A victory is saving one woman from being wounded at a time. I'm quite certain this group saved many lives, some known, many more unknown.

"makes it sound like the Pro-lifers were just nuisances."

Standing against evil is always a "nuisance" to evildoers, is it not?!?

To be a "nuisance" and save lives is FAR better to sit back in one's recliner (as I did for many years myself) and smugly criticize those on the front lines. Here is a quote from a man who was a colossal "nuisance" to the slave trade:

“If to be feelingly alive to the sufferings of my fellow-creatures is to be a fanatic, I am one of the most incurable fanatics ever permitted to be at large.” ? William Wilberforce

And one from a royal "nuisance" to the Third Reich:
"Which of us has really admitted that God’s goodness can also lead us into conflict." ? Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Finally, Harriet Tubman was such a "nuisance" to slavers in the 1850's that they put a $40K bounty on her head. That is about $1.2M in 2016 dollars.
