(on the moon)
It shines. It is not a star but a light. No one needs Earth's light on the moon.

Ok, this is just embarrassing. Even for Grace, this is bad.
I guess all that trivia about the moon on my SkyView app lied to me.

These days, Princess Luna only appears as Nightmare Moon on Nightmare Night. But in your case, I'm sure she'd be only too glad to make an exception.
She can enter your dreams , Greasy Kumquat...! [/Freddy Krueger] >:D
@pip
That comments thread is a hoot. Comeonpeople actually says he can see through the moon and see clouds on the other side. he thinks it is a light like a light globe.
I wonder if he's one of those idiots who thinks the moon is just a hologram being projected onto the sky.
Looks like the loonies are off the path again!
IT'S A BIG FAT F-ING ROCK! IT'S ALWAYS BEEN A ROCK FOR AS LONG AS THERE WAS A HUMAN ALIVE TO LOOK AT IT! WHEN YOU, AND ALL YOUR LUNATIC FUNDY FOLLOWERS DIE, IT WILL STILL BE A BIG. FAT. F-ING. ROCK!
No one needs Earth's light on the moon.
They get it anyway. When the moon is a sliver, you can clearly see the rest of the moon faintly lit by the light of the earth. Astronomers call it "earthshine", but it's popularly called "the old moon in the new moon's arms".
@Doubting Thomas: I wonder if he's one of those idiots who thinks the moon is just a hologram being projected onto the sky.
... and Gotham City uses it to call out Moonman.
No one needs Earth's light on the moon.
So, not only is the Moon a light, but so is Earth.
I wish my moon hubcaps would light up.
The Bible clearly states the moon produces light, because its writers didn't realize it reflects sunlight, is lite up by sunlight.
Apologetics usually try to claim reflecting means the same thing as producing but it fucking doesn't.
Some like Grace like to stick with the idea that is does actually make it' own light, like flat Earthers some just rather stick with magic.
"No one needs Earth's light on the moon."
I guess that's true, since there's nobody on the moon right now.
From what I can piece together from the thread, this is an extended talk about whether the moon is a physical object or not as well as a flat Earth theist. In both cases because...Biblical literalism.
I just...ugh...ugh ugh ugh.
"(on the moon) It shines."
Yes, very weakly, and in infra-red.
Confused?
