Countries like Poland and Finland were dominated by fascists and fascist sympathizers before WW2, so I don't feel much sympathy for them.

Obviously the Red Army raping people was objectively horrible, and in many ways was a result of the absolute hate (which was also cultivated by Soviet propagandists) most Soviets had for Germany after their Nazis invaded the USSR and murdered millions of people. As far as I'm concerned every rapist deserves to be shot, but there was a reason behind it that has absolutely nothing to do with socialism.
