It took me till I was 26. I would have preferred that was earlier, sure, but I never felt that my "life was over" or anything.

I'm not going to lie, there's part of me that sort of likes the thought that when I'm chatting with a woman, an "incel" might be watching us and thinking we're going to run off and have sex five minutes later.
I'm going to be 50 in a month. Never been on a date, kissed a girl, or had any "romantic" interactions with a woman at all. I'm so godsdamned glad these idiots weren't around when I was growing up. I would've been one of them. I was angry about it for a while, tried to "improve" myself (really, I just got fit and got smart. I didn't become a likeable human being until much later). Now, it's not that I've given up, or stopped caring. I'm just comfortable with myself as I am. I have female friends, some of whom even know I'm a virgin, one even offered to "fix" that. I'm just not that interested in dating, anymore, and I don't want to change existing friendships.
