How sad is the state of the world that the first thing people will think after a bizarre motion like this is that it is meant to snub a particular religion rather than suggesting the guy who put it forward got paid off by a figure in an industry that would benefit financially?
Even the nature of corruption has changed. That says something.
I'm guessing Muslims weren't imposing anything on them in the first place, and this was some sort of 'self-defense measure'.

Of course it's meant as an harassment of Muslims. They could just as easily have made beef mandatory, if they didn't want to harass Muslims.
Oh, and what about all the vegetarians who are not Muslims? Are they also not allowed to "impose eating habits on others"? How does one person eating beef and another eating pork impose eating habits on others, btw? I have a friend who's Muslim and she's vegetarian. I also have relatives who are vegetarian and Christian. Neither of them impose their habits on me, nor do I impose mine on them.
We've had something equally silly here in Sweden, from time to time. Some school began with a meat-free day per week. People from our conservative party was outraged:

and gathered outside the school to distribute meat to the poor starving children. The children, meanwhile, hadn't even noticed; they just ate the meal they were served.

Man, I'm not even Muslim and I'm not too fond of pork. Gimme a nice big slab of roast beef any day.
I'm not that fond of pork, either, and prefer ham & bacon. I do like BBQ pulled pork which has been slow roasted all day long. The midwest may be a fundie bible belt shithole, but we do have good BBQ.

This is not fundie. They're not forcing the Muslims to eat Pork, they're making sure Muslims can't take pork from others.
Anyone who says this is an attack on Muslims needs to rethink themselves very carefully.
Reading between the lines this looks to me like
1. Muslim fundies demand that all of Denmark comply with sharia.
2. Right wingers reply "fuck you" and aim bacon guns at muslim fundies.
3. Muslim fundies cry about how much they're being persecuted.

That was actually my first thought when I read the article. He did actually mention Muslims as the reason for it, though.
I also expect that this dipshit's definition of 'imposing on others' is much like that of other fundies. IE, merely existing. I also wouldn't be surprised if, despite claims to the contrary, somebody ends up using this as an excuse to deny offering a halal option on pork day. That's merely speculation, though.
