[In response to someone saying misandry is wrong]

Meh'd.
Same as another quote recently submitted along the same lines- this completely lacks context. Nothing in this quote says anything that can actually be construed as misandry. A single word in a username does not a misandrist make.
I get it, I really do. It's hard to see quote after quote everyday where men churn out manifestos and checklists about enslaving women and raping little girls and you want to prove "Misandrists exist too, you know!"
Yeah, they do. So why don't you try submitting a quote that shows some actual misandry?
@ Daspletosaurus
That's not what this quote says.
Please, go ahead and point out where this quote says "You're wrong, misandry is awesome"
I'll be holding my breath in eager anticipation.
@2040325: in the original post, dont-rot says "Misandry is wrong tho
". Misandry-mermaid replies that "nobody asked you". At the very least, I would think that the fact that she's that dismissive of someone who opposes misandry implies that she doesn't think misandry is inherently wrong. For what it's worth, her FAQ indicates that she openly calls herself a misandrist.
@ Daspletosaurus
Or maybe she was dismissive because this is likely the 1000th person who's failed to take 2 minutes to read enough of her blog to figure out she actually has a rather nuanced and well-reasoned, although uncomplimentary, opinion of men.
Maybe you should read this site's FAQ, which says re: the definition of "fundie", "It should be noted that one can be religious--even a fundamentalist--but not actually attain the vaunted status of "fundie," which needs that special touch only people fitting stereotypical caricatures can provide"
While this is a sub-forum for sexism-fundism, I would hope the same standard applies and we're not going to be bombarded with umpteenth posts of bloggers who are either ignorant children or whose only evidence of misandry is having that word in their username. Especially when their opposite spectrum counterparts, men who have some variation of the word "misogyny" in their username, are so commonplace that a submission of a quote consisting only of that (and/or a downright blasé dismissal of someone saying misogyny is bad) would be met with a reaction of "that's it?"
TL;DR version: This person's supposed misandry is so mild (if it even exists in the conventional sense) that it wouldn't even be a blip on anyone's radar if you flipped the genders. Try submitting a quote with some actual misandry instead of this false equivalency boredom-fest fuel.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
