If Christianity didn't exist, there would be no reason for being alive.

I've heard this, from Ray Comfort and D.L.Craig among other liars.
Closest thing they come to for explanation?
"Atheists have no purpose in life"
Y'see, without a badly collected bunch of fables from 2000 years ago no one has ever had a reason to live. Not one reason.
All our loves, interests and accomplishments, All we've gotten from other and given to them, day in, day out. Ray and them will tell us, we cheapen life with our Atheism yet he and his ilk dismiss us as nothing, if you ain't in their club you supposedly wasted your life.
But wait,,, What have they done but talk shit? What have they done but talk while others produce things or provide a real useful service?
Why "we bring the word of the lord to people"
In America? You can't go anywhere in America without hearing that shit.
If there's anything there's no demand for, a glut of, it's preachers.

I’ve seen a LOT of people saying that without God, we have no purpose.
But, a loose collection of overlapping rituals and beliefs? That’s a little more rare.
I mean, i can see it. More than a few have said that without religion, there’s no morality, and they’d rather be a believer than an atheist, even if there’s no afterlife.
Pretty much bullshit. If there were no Christainity, would you choose to be Muslim just for the framework to build your life upon? Or Shinto?
I'm pagan. My parents were atheists. My sister and her husband are atheists. When my parents were alive they lived to try to better the world. My sis, her husband and I live to better the world and try to help make our world less polluted. I work to also try to help put stop to corruption. None of us needed christianity.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
