I did do dumb things at 14 but nothing that fucking bad. At 14 I at least understood the concept of consent. And while we're at it, it seems he is still a fucking pervert and irredeemable hypocrite. At least I learned from my mistakes and at least I never did anything nearly as bad as he did. So fuck him for everything he did and fuck you for enabling and trying to say it was only a fucking mistake.

I do actually have sympathy for Buggar in that I don't believe he is a pedophile but that he was incredibly sexually immature thanks in large part to the family culture his parents created.
Joshie's grabbiness is levels and levels below actual child predators both in the damage done by his acts and in his likeliness to reoffend. His parents erred in failing to get him proper help, and in trusting a certain police officer who himself was a far greater danger to children than Joshua Duggar.
But he loses forever his capacity to teach morals unless he learns to live by them - which he has not.

I just brought this up. I believe the problem lies in the "all sin is equal" upbringing. Honestly Josh was a teenage boy with urges in a household where his sex education was all sexual behavior except sex in marriage is wrong. Now being taught that masterbating is just as bad as premarital sex, being day, touching kids, and so on messed him up. Would we be talking about this if Josh's big dark secret was a stash of promo when he was a teenager? No because its not then same as touching his sisters.
One would think that a "good Christian family" would take a minute or two out of their filming schedule and photo shoot time to actually teach their children about right and wrong.

I read through some of the police reports and through the summary. It's not that I doubt you, precisely, but rather I don't remember reading about that specific event.
Considering the nature of the other things Mr. Grabby did, this accusation is the most serious in part because it speaks to deeper motives than mere immaturity. If you still have the cite, I'd "like" to see it. It may be he's worse than I gave him, eh, credit for.
Who wants to bet if Duggar was non Christian, even at 14 Mary Stephens would be calling for his head and pointing out how we need god to be moral like a fucking hypocrite? Also as has been said before, this is predatory behavior by him. And it showed his family for the hypocrites they are.
