You may, but men tend to think differently than women so it's less likely.
The behaviors I described are mostly the result of women feeling as if their partner-objects are not providing the utility which they expected (or were promised), and as women's love for men is usually based on some assessment of men's utility to them, when it is lower the men tend to get treated like any other object which isn't providing the expected utility, poorly.
Men more frequently love women for who they are, or at the very least, for a different set of utility. So there is a much lower likelihood that you will have the same problem.
