I actually tend to get along better with women than with men. I also have a lot in common with my mother, more than I had with my father.
I get along better wih women, because I find locker room talk loathsome and stupid. If you want to be crude, at least be a bit subtle or humorous (which was what the old-school French authors did. Read Rabelais.).

Some of that comes about with being together, and finding out more about each other.
