They don't teach "religion" in schools anymore. They teach evolution.

But what about all those Christian 10 year olds who humiliated their science teacher in front of the whole class by asking if evolution is true why are there still monkeys?
@Malingspann
Ray is incapable of thinking others might have evidence for their way of thinking. Since he chooses to "Just believe" in God, he thinks everyone else "Just believes" in whatever religious ideology they are a part of, even if it is literally just a lack of belief in something.
It's what happens when churches teach their congregation to fear what's not like them. They can't interact with the rest of the world unless it's through fear or anger.
There are those who Believe:

But you'll wish they didn't .
So enjoy your paradox, Ray Cumfart.
And if you think what's being done in the US is so bad, why don't you just fuck off back to New Zealand?
...oh, that's right: not enough sheep for you to fleece there. In a country where there are more actual sheep than people: least of all those 'educated' enough to think your Cre(a)ti(o)nist BS is 'fact'.

But, but, but, but, but Ray; you've said previously on many occasions that Christianity wasn't a 'religion'; it was all about a 'personal relationship' with Jesus.
Which is it Ray? It can't be both!
I was taught both. Religions (including Christianity, Islam and Judaism) in Religion Classes, and Evolution during Biology Classes.
Most end-of-term celebrations were held in the local church, and hymns were sung at the end of each school day during my first three years in school.
I think Ray's seriously overestimating the amount of evolution in the average public school curriculum. Even my high school bio class was much more about topics like ecology, the food chain, and cell biology. Because it turns out that evolution isn't that important in your day-to-day life.
...come to it, I don't know the last time I needed to know about mitochondria, but that notwithstanding.
Confused?
