What about the fact of biology? There are only two genders and you can’t change the knee you’re born with. cutting off you dick and calling yourself a woman is a mental illness, nothing more.

There only two sexes . We can also change the knees we are born with, although I agree prosthesises are not perfect.
As for being transgender, this is a condition, yes, and a solution to alleviate the suffering it causes is to change the apparent gender, that is the social appearance of the person.
Well, neither of those things is a biological fact and genders (at least as far as I've understood the concept) aren't biological in nature. Sexes are and of those there are a few more then two around as well (intersex people for example). Reality isn't often as cut-and-dry as (some) humans would like it to be. Oh and nice transphobia in your second sentence.
If a man wanting to be a woman is a mental illness, then how would YOU treat it?
Wait, don't answer that, I fear the answer is horrific.
There are quite a few variations with the X and the Y.
My mom has a new mechanical knee, so yes, we can change the knee we're born with.
Biology isn't as cut-and-dried as you thought.
Cutting off your dick does not make you a woman, asshole, it's makes you a dick-less man. A woman has a vagina and a clitoris, which is what the surgeons are trying to replicate in gender-reassignment operations. But, inadvertently, you are right; people who are born with indistinct genitals, or with not discernible dick, are often assigned female gender.
Being born a man but with the body of a woman, probably feels like a mental illness from time to time, yes. But, luckily, it seems that by being able to live like a man (and sometimes have gender reassignment operation; not everyone bothers with it), the illness is more or less lifted and life gets much more sane.
"What about the fact of biology?"
Yes tell us about the fact of biology. The XXY part, or the chimera part. Tell us about it.
Well, y'see, this "god" guy you keep talking about didn't always get things right. There are actually people who have two sets of reproductive organs, both male and female, so don't tell me that god didn't make any mistakes.
...and I've been consider changing my knee for a better one ...

Yes, indeed, there are intersex persons. However, they are not a major part of this discussion, even though there would be a lot to say about the way they are treated.
The OP was directly targetting transgender people. Bigots do not seem to like the idea that some persons are just not comfortable with the way they were born, because their god cannot make mistakes and if you are born with a set of male genitalia, you can only be satisfied about it. Which is BS, because some people simply cannot reconcile their identity with their body, for reasons that sound to me serious enough as to be qualified as a health issue. The least damaging option, in their case, is to let them match their appearance with their own representation.
Confused?
