It's only a paradox if you believe the claim of perfection. As anyone who ever had a parent, teacher or manager/boss can attest, belief in one's own infallibility is as universal amongst those in authority as it is universally untrue. Indeed, the less power they truly have, the stronger their delusion. Following that line of reasoning, the Abrahamic texts come the closest they ever will to making... a kind of sense.

Exodus 20:13 is part of a litany of rules that include many stipulations about killing. The actual meaning of the commandment is clearly implied by its context: deliberately (not accidentally) killing somebody in circumstances other than war or self-defense. There is no contradiction between that and Ecclesiastes, which presumably has war and self-defense in mind, so there's no paradox to reconcile.
Understand your sacred text before you start trying to use it as proof of anything.

Simple it is a contradiction. Actually there are a number of places in Bible that contradict that.
So, he intended for Adam and Eve to eat the fruit when he place the tree in the Garden of Eden?
I see no paradox, I just see rows from a flawed book full of contradictions.
It's not a paradox, it's a contradiction.
The book is riddled with them, probably because it's origins are a scattershot of many scrolls that were altered and collected but never cohesively realized. As ancient astronauts be,,, oh sorry, as Biblical Scholars conclude: Parables, the retelling of old folk tales, it's apparent at the beginning, literally, with two contradicting Genesis.
