The Real Reason Grenfell Tower Burnt Down

…because too much money is being spent on the police taking away our freedoms and beating us up as opposed to spending the money on actually constructing buildings properly, or enacting the appropriate regulations.

I mean just look at this, around 100 people have died in the Grenfell Tower fire and all the police can do is arrest a man for posting a photo of one of the dead victims:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/06/16/man-jailed-sharing-photo-dead-grenfell-tower-fire-victim-facebook/

And he’s already got 3 months in prison (how on earth can a trial be that quick? Normally people end up on bail for years). I do honestly think that Britain is not a “free country” at all. As I keep saying Britain is really just a politically correct police state. If the BBC were showing a bunch of dead corpses in Africa who had been freshly butchered by some tribe no one would have any problem with it, but as this guy posted a photo of a victim of some freak accident in the UK all of a sudden the image is apparently “unPC” and therefore considered a “malicious communication”.

The Judge Tanweer Ikram has made himself look like a right politically correct twat as has the new, radically feminist, metropolitan police commissioner Cressida Dick who must ultimately bear responsibility for this arrest and taking away our free expression.

Strange how it was Fire which killed those people and not anti-Racism laws such as Section 5 of the Public Order Act.

Why did Theresa May Not soon fuck off after the P.R. disaster that was merely showing her face there?

Queen Elizabeth II didn't.

The fact that you wanted to really say what you wanted - but didn't - is beating yourself up: with your own PC. We know what you're wanting to say about the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

Better pray that you're not in the UK: if even the Telegraph gets so much as a sniff of what you're so much as implying here, you'll be giving Scotland Yard's Cybercrime section more reason to clamp down on trolling, via existing Malicious Communications laws.

If you are, you'd better STFU, if you know what's good for you: and your continued internet access. [/Brenda Leyland]

The reason the Grenfell Tower fire happened is because of neglect and an underlying lack of respect for the poor. People in the tower- in the surrounding area, no less- had frequently voiced their concerns about the building's siding, but were either blown off or ignored. In the US, most fire codes don't allow for buildings over a certain height to have that type of siding as it's considered a fire risk. And now, tragically, it's been proven they were right.

The reason this guy was jailed was almost certainly because maybe, juuust maybe, it might be a little upsetting for survivors and family members of the deceased to see their loved ones dead, especially when it's something like this. But I guess asking for a little civility and kindness in their time of grieving is beyond your grasp.

Also- it says a lot about the current leader when a damn popstar, the leader of the opposition, and members of the non-elected royal family meet survivors before she does.

What freedoms have the police deprived you of, honey?

It should be illegal to exploit the death of innocent people.

The difference is that few people in Britain knows people in tribes in Africa, while a lot of people in London know other people in London. Would you want YOUR dead and mutilated corpse photographed and posted for anyone to see?

With freedoms come responsibilities, nitwit.

"radically feminist, "

Feminism makes building catch fire?

@Mister Spak:
Nah. It just pulls the fire alarm.

I would have no problem with it, besides, I'd be dead.

(anti-austerity protests, london)

And considering how - after she so much as showed the disaster area that was her face there at that disaster area - Theresa May Not is now Maggie Thatcher (*spit*) 2.0, I'm glad it is.

Judging by the massive protest - which included the outrage against that tragedy - and Jeremy Corbyn's reception which was the diametric opposite to hers, it's only becoming more so. Good.

Wonder why he's all but regarded as a god nowadays: and she's a Dead Woman Walking? Newsflash: It's not just because of Terrie making a complete arse of last month's elections; Social Care? That's but a mere sample of why people in this country are embracing the hyper-PC way.

Good II.

Someone's made themselves look like a right politically incorrect twat: and it's not just Theresa May Not.

Politically Correct. The last word in that phrase exists for an extremely good reason.

Me, I like being Correct. It is the superior state to be in. As Jeremy Corwin is. As opposed to Theresa May Not: and the likes of you. Enjoy your inferior state: always wrong.

How can being Politically Correct be wrong? Just ask William Hill: as they've effectively stopped taking bets on Jeremy Corbyn becoming Prime Minister later this year.
