In our opinion the DPRK has shown great leniency and humanitarianism by releasing Mr Warmbier earlier. Also by giving him medical treatment free of charge for nearly a year.
Considering that he was injured while in their "care", that's the very least that they could have done. That doesn't buy them any points, no matter how much you try to spin this.
The US media is agitating about the case but they should be grateful that he is back in the US, also unless they are doctors or nurses should not be commenting on Mr Warmbier's condition or how it came about.
They're "agitating" because a young man's life was needlessly cut short because he decided to steal a poster. Even if he were still alive and well, he'd still be looking at the remainder of a 15-year sentence--for a fucking poster. You've already seen all the gratitude from the US that you're ever going to over this matter.
As for how Mr. Warmbier's condition came about--we don't know that because the DPRK HASN'T SAID. That's not very generous of them, considering that information could have been used to treat him. It's also not very good of you to use that withholding of information in the DPRK's favor.
It should be noted that Mr Warmbier was brought back to US by a military and not civilian aircraft which does tend to confirm that in fact Mr Warmbier was really working for the CIA or another US intelligence body or the US military.
He was in a nonresponsive vegetative state, suffering from brain damage of unknown origin--and you fucking expect him to fly coach?
As I'm sure you're well aware, the DPRK didn't charge him with espionage. He was "tried" and convicted of stealing A POSTER.
Many tourists visit the DPRK each year and do not get arrested, it seems to be only US citizens who get arrested.
Why do you suppose that is?
