(An article on Sonic Stadium, a Sonic the Hedgehog fansite, showcased a video and podcast that site writer Jay Egge Mann made about LGBT+ people in the Sonic fan community and also provided some thoughts on their contents. This is a comment made in response to the article.)

As a Sonic fan of 21 years I feel this video and this entire post in general should not exist. You are opening a HUGE can of worms. If someone may be gay or lesbian that person should just keep it to themselves. There are many sonic fans around the world and some are religious, atheist or whatever and making such a broad post is going to urk people depending on their background and draw them away. Sonic should be about Sonic and thats it.

I for one am a bible scholar and I go to church and keep the laws, statues and commandments. I do not agree with the lifestyle of LGBT whatsoever and now im second guessing the site because I don’t want to continue following and supporting a site that supports LGBT because that is against God and have you NOT made this post and video I wouldn’t be feeling this type of way.
