Do you know that Atropa Belladonna (I think of PLANT) REALY can filtrate human population, and exterminate all carnists in world? Yes, and do you know why? That's because meats of animals who eats THAT plant (milk and eggs, too) are POISONOUS for humans who eat tham... But Atropa Belladona isn't poisonuos for animals... ;) You know, one time I was thinking about that as an solution... ;)

Pharaoh Bastethotep

Two words: Meat inspection.

Also, binomial names are written in italics and the specific epitet is not capitalised!

Yeah, what Bastethotep said.

Now bitch, let me just find my Deadpool costume and buy a fuckload of cheeseburgers at McD`s, you are screwed.

Thinking Allowed

But Atropa Belladona isn't poisonuos for animals.

Except for the dog that my friend had to take to the vet because it ate some of the leaves off her plant. The plant is gone now. Luckily the dog with treatment and a stay of a few days at the vet lived.

Cool. A vegan terrorist fundie. What's next, a Gluten Liberation Front fundie?

7/20/2017 11:53:41 AM

Hope you get put on a watchlist for this shit.

7/20/2017 12:16:22 PM

And do you know what would happen then? The entire world would turn out to look for you, and whoever made the poisoned meat. You vegans would discover what actual persecution looks like - heads would roll.

What? That's really, really dumb.

First, there's no such thing as "not poisonous to animals". Different species are immune to different things. A lot of the plants we eat are poisonous, yet has no effect on humans because humans are immune to those particular toxins. For example, chocolate contains theobromine, which gives it its distinct chocolaty flavor... and it's also a potentially lethal poison to most species. This is why you should not give human food to pets unless you're sure it's safe.

Second, we do eat animals which eat things which are not safe for humans. As long as they're not a species which stores the poison in their tissues, you drain as much blood as possible and don't spill the stomach contents, and cook the meat well, it should be fine. There are still a few exceptions, like potential ciguatera poisoning from some species of tropical reef fish, but those are known exceptions which people deliberately avoid if they can.

Demon Duck of Doom

A genocidal vegan? That's new.

7/20/2017 4:38:52 PM

Oh, that's why I saw human carcasses scattered around the neighborhood this morning.

Shepard Solus

Oh look. A vegan that doesn't understand even the simplest facets of basic biology. Never seen one of those before.

@Demon Duck of Doom:
If only.

You know that that particular plant is also toxic to non-humans, right? And I have my doubts as to the transferred toxicity.

Even if you were right, "exterminating" everyone not like you is generally frowned upon. You know, crimes against humanity and all that. Fucking loon...

So Jelena here is a vegan terrorist

7/21/2017 7:12:12 AM

Doubting Thomas

So you'd kill people to save animals (which would have to be slaughtered in order to kill the aforementioned humans). Please tell me how veganism is morally superior again?

7/21/2017 8:53:38 AM

Humans are animals, too. If you poison your fellow human beings, you kill animals. You're no better than a carnist.

It's Atropa belladonna, dearie. And, who WOULDN'T think PLANT, when you mention a well known poisonous plant, dolt?

The foliage and berries are extremely toxic when ingested, according to Wikipedia. One of it's alternative names is deadly nightshade. Wikipedia says nothing about it being toxic only to "carnists"; it's "also toxic to many domestic animals". Oh, and several animals, besides us humans (and yes, we are animals too), are "carnists". Like the domestic animals "dogs" and "cats". Besides, humans aren't really "carnists", we're usually omnivores, dearie.

Honey, "tham" isn't a word. You probably ment "them".
