Oh, won't somebody please think of the poor oppressed Nazis! How can you be so mean to them!? All they want to do is kill everybody who isn't them and ruthlessly oppress the rest! Clearly the fault here lies with the Evil Left who just won't stop punching the innocent Nazis even when they're just harmlessly demonstrating for their right to murder people.

To the extent this is happening (which isn't as much as the right-wing would like to make you think it is), it is happening as a reaction to the violence and threats of violence coming from the Nazi side. Unfortunately, although violence is something that should be avoided, if possible, there are occasions where it cannot be avoided and is even entirely justified - such as the last time a Nazi-friendly regime gained any real power, which was Germany of the 1930s and early 40s.

I'm generally against punching Nazis because it's hard for us to tell who is genuinely a Nazi, who is merely misguided, and who is actually fully against Nazism, and is just wearing a lame haircut. A number of dedicated Nazi punchers don't see this nuance, and just punch anyone that looks like they could be one.
If they are dedicated/stupid enough to be THIS blatant though, then go ahead!
If the tiki torch is a reference to the same "Unite the Right" rally I saw video of your caption's a little off. The Nazis were outnumbered yes, and the protesters certainly weren't happy no, but that might also have something to do with the guy taking a fucking whip to the crowd while shouting racial epithets and miraculously not getting his head caved in with those signs for it.
Because all left-leaning groups are liberal hippies, and they're hypocrites because they're not all complete pacifists that will allow us to openly practice genocide again! So much for love and tolerance! /s

Hm. The paradox of tolerance. If you are tolerant of everyone and everything, then tolerance will be destroyed by the intolerant. It's not as if protesters and civil rights activists in the past weren't accused of being instigators of violence and havoc back in the day, either.

I don't normally condone violence and hatred (Hell, I strongly believe in compassion and forgiveness), but fuck it, some people deserve an exception. Nazi's, and those who defend them, are amongst that group.

I don't agree with #PunchNazis. Not because of any of that false-equivalency BS about being "just as bad as Nazis"-- because really, it is not hard to be on a higher moral ground than goddamned Nazis (even the violent protestors in this image as morally superior to Nazis, as they're at least anti-genocide). Rather, I think punching people who aren't an immediate threat to you or somebody else's safety and life is just in generally a bad thing to do. A goddamned Nazi on the street is not worth your time, which is better spent reporting Nazi communes to the police or the general public, donating to organizations like the ACLU that fight Nazis in court, calling on your local policians to condemn and act against Nazis, and/or participating in marches and the like. That and what Some Christian Anon said about it being hard to distinguish a geniune Nazi from somebody who's merely an idiot, jerk, or has a stupid haircut.
You mean like these guys? Attacking the poor Nazis who were just on a four year field trip to France (and Poland, and the Netherlands, and Belgium, and Norway, and...).
