“Now tell us: How does gay marriage make negatively impact the lives of straight people. Answer: It doesn’t.”
Well, it didn’t, until it was legalized. Now our kids are taught this lifestyle in public schools, without parents even knowing it, much less consenting to it. Businesses put out of businesses, others FORCED to serve people they prefer not to serve because of lifestyle objections. Not to mention perverts in girls’ locker rooms.
And our Republican Leaders (i.e., NeverTrumpers) thought we could ‘put this issue behind us’ by not talking about it anymore.
One would think these idiots would know by now that THE LEFT NEVER STOPS. Either we fight them every step, or bend over and take it.

I had a cousin who was homophobic. He was ranting about it and I finally said "You know _____________, don't you think that they have a right to be divorced just as much as you do?"
He doens't rant about it anymore.
Either we fight them every step, or bend over and take it.
Sorry Bob, but they may take that as an offer and refuse what you're willing to give.
"Either we fight them every step, or bend over and take it."
Or you simply shrug your shoulders and get on with your life. How come gay marriage only seems to negatively affect Christians and no one else? Here's a hint, "To the privileged equality seems like persecution."
Well, in a sense it does infringe on their ability to exercise their rights as parents: the right to raise their children as they see fit. And if they want their kids to be just as ignorant of gay/bi/pan/whatever people as they are, allowing those people to just live their lives openly makes it rather difficult. And if they want to teach that marriage is only between opposite sexes, there being widespread counterexamples undermines that teaching. Even if they technically still have that right, it's about as meaningful (to them) as dirt poor people technically having the right to own a yacht.
However, at this point, they can't claim majority rules because they're no longer a majority, and they can't reasonably claim minority protection because it would be oppressing another minority. So there's nothing they really can do except suck it up.
Kids were always taught this lifestyle, or should have been, as part of sex education. That doesn't mean bigot's education.
"Either we fight them every step, or bend over and take it".
Well...that's very Freudian of you.
Gay marriage still doesn't have any impact whatsoever on the lives of straight people. Our kids were taught to respect other people before, and they are still taught to respect other people. I was taught about homosexuality in school when I was young, and that was during the eighties. We certainly didn't have gay marriage in Sweden back then.
Businesses are put out of business for endangering the lives of potential customers.
Just like they were FORCED to serve people they preferred not to serve because of skin-tone objections, a couple of decades ago. You're on the wrong side of history, honey.
The way to put the issue behind you, dearie, is to treat gay people like you (hopefully) treat straight people; with decency and respect.
There are gay people on THE RIGHT, too!
I'm on the left and I stand tall; no bending over here.
THE LEFT NEVER STOPS.
Bwahahahaha!
Either we fight them every step, or bend over and take it
Kim Il-Davis: that legal Sword of Damocles over her head; no 'Executive Order' forthcoming from Donald Fart saving her. I wonder why ...?!
A couple of fundie Christain bakers in Northern Ireland losing their appeal last year. They now legally forced to serve couples who just happen to be of the same gender.
Log Cabin Republicans strangely silent over the issue.

Because of what he's said, done & thought , Chrissy Cantdoverywell is going to have to not only lie in the bed he ultimately made, when he thought he had the right to fuck with the left.
Yet, by we of the left not doing anything, Bitchboy will be the one bent over that bunk.
Only an idiot wouldn't know about the New Paradigm.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
