Quote# 131486

Lab animals are almost always euthanized at the end of their lives, having endured a life of tests, and crippling medical conditions. We must remember that the purpose of medical testing is to induce suffering, through modeling diseases and sicknesses. Its animal abuse, just not for pleasure.

The purpose of medical testing is to relieve the suffering of sick people (and sick animals too). I can't help wondering how many of these people are animal lovers - or are they all just people haters?

"just not for pleasure"

No animal testing is ever done for pleasure. EVER! Lightbulb9's belief that there is some kind of sadism involved tells me more about his/her character and way of thinking than I'm comfortable knowing.

Okay, that's retarded even by PETA's standards. You've gone sub-PETA. That's just a hair shy of three Full Retards.

Fine, go die of preventable diseases because the drugs and vaccines that would developed with the assistance of animal testing were never developed. Nothing of value will be lost.

You unbelievably brainless CUNT.

In order to relieve said suffering in humans and other animals. There's no other alternatives to it without diseases surging back and resuming killing.

You are most likely still alive because of animal testing. Which is a black mark for animal testing, really, but still.

WhyinternetWhy

Not only does animal testing help save lives, but to say its done to induce suffering is foolish even beyond that due to the fact that scientists do their best to keep stressors and other negative factors to a minimum so as to avoid outside variables in testing.
