Lady Checkmate's headline: "Persecution: Catholic farmer, banned from market for his gay marriage stance, wants judge to intervene"

Please pray for the farmer and his family (wife and 5 children). He and his wife are American veterans and they along with their five children are being targeted and harassed for exercising their religious freedom (they're actually trying to take his livelihood, i.e. food out of his children's mouths because they agree with him obeying God-only very evil and wicked people that hate truth would do that). That was obviously a setup. And, I'm not surprised but I am happy he's fighting back and resisting the enemy. That's what the alt-left does, harass and persecute those who obey God. If you're a friend of the world you need to check your spiritual walk. The world hates the light because their deeds are exposed in the light. They hate(d) Jesus Christ, so of course they hate His followers.

Don't forget to RECOMMEND. Lets get the Truth out so that Light may shine bright in this dark place and Jesus Christ may be glorified.Even if the discussion is closed, please still RECOMMEND.

Holey Head

I'm praying he will be struck by lightning, if you don't mind?

He broke the law, as even FOX explained. Why should he have special privileges to break the laws he doesn't like?

Wow. If you read the story, you can see she;s lying in like two seconds.

Jocasta McFucken

I don't think she even cares how blatant her lies are. As long as she can control all the discussion going on.

9/13/2017 1:50:43 PM

And does she know other things about this story than what she's getting from the link? Cus, I don't know where the hell she's getting this crap about "this was obviously a setup" and so forth.....

If he's a farmer, can't he grow food for his children on his farm?

Are you this supportive of transgender and gay American veterans, or homeless veterans?

It doesn't seem like it's his stance on gay marriage that's the problem. He can think whatever he wants about that, but he can't persecute people; that's against the law.

Besides, fairly Catholic Ireland recently voted FOR allowing gay marriage. Bigotry has little to do with religion, and everything to do with hypocrisy and, well, being a bigot.

It likely pained her in some respects to post this because she HATES Catholics.

Romans 13:1-5.

So you love Catholics, then: to the extent that you'll become a left-footer...?!

Checkmate, Lady.

@Jocasta McFucken

In the same way Andy Schaftafly considered Football (not his precious Timmy Teabowl's) to be 'Socialist': yet the German national team was 'Conservative' when they won the World Cup.

Like him, she could replace the 'Cushion of Air' mechanism used by the Sapporo Dome in Japan, which moves the entire pitch out of the stadium: with her ability to move entire sports grounds never mind goalposts, both of them could make that obsolete.

And Andy is a Catholic too.

Is this retard the gender opposite equivalent of him, perchance...?!

Does Tennes also refuse to host weddings between divorced people, or mixed-faith couples? Both are against biblical rules.

Thinking Allowed

If I remember correctly, the farmer violated the non-discrimination laws of where he lives.

It seems like to me that Lady Checkplease's favorite book says something about following the laws of the land.

Lady checkmate sees persecution as not being allowed to force her beliefs on others

rubber chicken

Sounds like somebody wants an activist judge.

"Lady checkmate sees persecution as not being allowed to force her beliefs on others"

Like all other fundies.

Doubting Thomas

Free market, baby. If he wants to hold onto his anti-gay stance, he's going to have to accept the consequences.

Shepard Solus

NOPE! Stupid fuckers like you have been demanding this very thing for yourselves for years, now. So unless you're going to reverse your stance you sit down, shut up and fucking choke on it.

If the story is as reported (which is a big 'if', given this is Fox News we're talking about here), the farmer is actually in the right - the officials of the city in question quite rightly object to the discrimination this farmer shows when renting his property for weddings, but the the location of this is outside their jurisdiction. Because of this, they have decided to simply assume he will break an anti-discrimination ordinance and ban him from the market. You cannot simply assume that someone will break a rule and pre-emptively punish them for doing so. What they should have done is keep a very close watch on what he does at the market, then ban him if and when he so much as puts a toe out of line.
