Quote# 131675

The correct response (if homeschooling is not an option) is a premature but detailed lesson on the real world:

Some adults lie about important things.
Some adults are mistaken about important things.
No, boys cannot become girls, either by choice or by accident. There is nothing to worry about.
No, girls cannot become boys, either by choice or by accident. There is nothing to worry about.
Boys and girls are not allowed to ask questions about this at school because sensible questions will get them in trouble with people who enjoy getting angry.

Can you tell whether you are a boy or a girl? How? Your classmate doesn’t understand this, and because their parents are also confused, you will get in trouble if you try to explain it.

I could go on, but the best response to wrong information is the truth, in all the detail that is necessary.

Right, send the kids to school so they can be told that their parents lie to them. The inescapable conclusion is that other adults can lie to them too. You are exhibit A.

"people who enjoy getting angry. "

It seems that the only people getting mad are the anti-trans people.

We never heard any grumblings about trans people until you bigots lost the battle over gay marriage. But your churches need you to be angry about something so that they can keep the cash flowing into the collection plates, and the super PACs.

I have noticed this myself. I mean I try to ask questions of Christians and they often get all steamed up and I have to walk on egg shells and be all PC for them. Though I have not been in high school since 1999 nor college since 2008, I still see Christians have the same reactions now as then

Yes, yessss my pets; feed your children lies and warn 'em against asking questions.

Do the same rules aply when the kids are in science class and discussing heredity and evolution, too?

Education is compulsory here in Britain.

Even private tutoring & homeschooling has to conform to the National Curriculum.

If 'Faith' Schools' are to continue to receive state funding, they must conform to the National Curriculum.

Which means they are forced to teach that the Big Bang & Evolution are fact.

Recently, a Christain parent threatened a state school with legal action if they allowed boys to wear skirts.

Strange how said parent isn't doing the same about girls wearing trousers.

That 'parent' can do their worst. But their 'case' will be laughed out of court.

Who's going to fund that parent's legal action: you?

This is correct. What can happen, though, is that some boys can have a body lacking a penis, and some girls can have a body with one. There are also people who don't comfortably fit into the options 'boy' or 'girl'. Various medical techniques can also alter a body in various ways - including what genitals it has.
