BDSM should be banned, it's always abused. There's nothing consensual when the whole culture, worldwide, is full of propaganda supporting that kind of stuff. There's no "that's personal" excuse, because the personal is political, and there's no "their choice" excuse, because there's no reason to care about their choice if their behavior is harmful. BDSM is fetishized abuse and a really disgusting practice wich should be banned.

All snack foods, tattoos, piercings, suntans, and extreme sports are hereby banned. Fun is irrelevant, you can be harmed by these.

You can add alcohol in any form (wine, beer, et cetera...), video games, horror films, trekking and plane travel.

Adults are allowed to harm themselves. Extreme sports, piercings, tattoos, pregnancy, asphyxiation sex, etc.
BDSM is complete control, with illusion of no control.

What's with the influx of people with little concept of BDSM beyond having read some bad fanfiction repurposed as a novel? When a subculture is built on consent as one of their cardinal rules, how can you say that their consent doesn't matter?
Also, what the hell do you mean "the personal is political"? Not everything is some big political statement! Some people just want to do what they enjoy without some judgmental fuck getting involved. If you're bringing politics into your fun time, that's on you. It isn't the norm.

The problem is not banning a sexual practice. If it's on the books, someone will eventually turn in their neighbor, their ex, their roommate, etc.
The real problem with laws banning sexual practices comes when you have to tag the evidence....Eugh!
