If you are a Christian then you seek a Kingdom, (aka, Monarchy).
If you love America’s demonic democracy that has taken over the world then you are in for a rude awakening when our King returns. Yahweh’s Kingdom is not a democracy.
Satan has deceived almost everyone into thinking that Christians should embrace the all inclusive democracy. But in fact democracy is the worst kind of government, especially our corporate democracy, which always degenerates socially, economically and most of all morally.
And once a democracy takes hold it cannot be changed from the degenerative course without being destroyed so we are destined to wallow in the mire of corruption, deviance and oppression until that time comes.
Yahweh’s Kingdom is not all inclusive but is in fact exclusive. And thankfully so because when it comes we will finally be rid of the immoral reprobates that seem to be running the world today.

I am a democrat because I believe that no man or group of men is good enough to be trusted with uncontrolled power over others. And the higher the pretensions of such power, the more dangerous I think it both to rulers and to the subjects. Hence Theocracy is the worst of all governments. If we must have a tyrant a robber barron is far better than an inquisitor. The baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity at some point may be sated; and since he dimly knows he is doing wrong he may possibly repent. But the inquisitor who mistakes his own cruelty and lust of power and fear for the voice of Heaven will torment us infinitely more because he torments us with the approval of his own conscience and his better impulses appear to him as temptations.
And since Theocracy is the worst, the nearer any government approaches to Theocracy the worse it will be. A metaphysic held by the rulers with the force of a religion, is a bad sign. It forbids them, like the inquisitor, to admit any grain of truth or good in their opponents, it abrogates the ordinary rules of morality, and it gives a seemingly high, super-personal sanction to all the very ordinary human passions by which, like other men, the rulers will frequently be actuated. In a word, it forbids wholesome doubt. A political programme can never in reality be more than probably right. We never know all the facts about the present and we can only guess the future. To attach to a party programme whose highest claim is to reasonable prudence the sort of assent which we should reserve for demonstrable theorems, is a kind of intoxication.

Queen Elizabeth II is the constitutional monarch of the United Kingdom. Every year, she attends the State Opening of Parliament: the basis of modern Democracy.
She is also head of our state religion: the Church of England.
Romans 13:1-5, Johnny-boy.
A Christian monarch King James I was a past head of the C-of-E. Better not be a KJV-onlyist, if you know what's good for you...! >:D
Yes, I did know that Yahweh was a tyrant, I have read what's allegedly his book. I don't want a theocracy from him, nor from any old man in a dress, who claims to be his representative. I do know the history of what that led to. . .And you got that quote wrong, it:
"Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."
- Winston S Churchill, 11 November 1947

Knowing what theocracy has brought this world, I say stick with the form of government which those Ancient Athenians left us - demokratia.
You know, there was a commandment about taking the Lord's name in vain. Seems they don't like that.
So, until the Jesus returns, who would run your little monarchy? You? Someone you approve of? Who made you the arbiter of morality and determiner of good leadership? I don't remember appointing you (or anyone).
Further, look at the history of monarchies. Note the levels of corruption, as well as what you would call social and moral degeneration under them. Now compare that to the track record of republics. Seems like, while all governments are fallible, the greater the distribution of power, the harder it is to corrupt the entire power structure. Harder to turn a few hundred people to your cause than one, right? And that's just the elected representatives in a democratic republic. Try swaying all of the people that put those people in power.
When and if there is such a second coming, I'm sure it will shock you when it has more in common with a hippie commune than an iron-fisted dictatorship.
I said it before, and I'll say it again. I'll be in full support of a monarchy/oligarchy when God himself descends from the clouds to rule it. Not god choosing some guy to rule for him. Not a council of priests. Not some guy chosen by a priest. And DEFINITELY not some idiot who chose themselves. At least people would be able to know what God ACTUALLY WANTS.
Until then, I'll support Democracy. At least that system is SOMEWHAT resistant to human folly.
Confused?
