Somehow I doubt feminists would rant against an advocacy programme supporting girl-led activism for the promotion of girl's rights across the world. I doubt feminists would ever bemoan the liberation of women and that women are not living in their structured gender roles expected of them in a patriarchal society. In fact, from discussing the subject with feminists and reading their opinion pieces, modern gender theory is one of the main issues they have in connection with trans rights. They see the proliferation of the idea that gender is a spectrum as a solidification of the idea of gender roles and a rigid view of what makes someone a (cis)woman. This is the complete opposite of non-tolerant man who actively wants women to live in accordance with the gender roles that feminists want destroyed.
