Hey, guys! What do you think of my theory about Religious Nuts preferring a craptacular planet over a happy, stable one?
I mean; Progressive modern societies are so much happier, safer, cleaner, a higher standard of living, etc. whereas Religiously frummy societies are a toilet bowl.
Yet, Despite this; The Holy Rollers think their ways are better. They see how Progressive ways of doing things are better over all but they insist on "Uganda/Iran/Saudi Arabia Ways Are Best".
They WANT a crappy world! They WANT social disorder, criminality, poverty, pollution, warfare, etc. They want people desperate. Unhappy people are easier to control. A fulfilled person is not going to jump into hardcore religious frummery and literalism.
